maybe some people who paid attention to missions, zilart and CoP storylines might be able to help piece together what the overall storyline is of FFXI. i can't remember anything since its been a while. anyone know?

sandoria-long dead king, tomb, sword, etc
bastok-cid building shit, galka being persecuted, zeid, people died in snow
windurst-some taru beat up yagudos
jeuno-weird looking guy on throne might be a bad guy, i think he's zilart
rise of zilart-zilart long dead except a kid, forgot the rest
chains of promathia-story bored me, i cant remember. i think someone needs to find "whisp's suspended memory" somewhere on the third level of promyvion-dem
overall-hmm.. whisp saved the day?

best site ever, actually there used to be a post on allakhazam that went even further and took all the storylines and tied them together, but it was incomplete as the person at the time was only up to like the 2nd cop mission, I'll try looking for it and posting it, I know I tried to read it all one day at work and it was just too much to get through

Ugh.. just finished reading most of that site...

Its pretty accurate, but some of the later parts could be cleaned up. Good screenshots and stuff though.

Needless to say that stuff is mega spoilers. Especially the part about Altana recreating Promathia in the five races of Vanadiel, so essentially all the races on Vanadiel were created from Promathia. Yeah, don't cut and paste that one if you haven't finished CoP yet.
