Yeah you can make more gil buying a Hi-potion tank and selling the Hi-potions from it than actually making the Hi-potions. And if you farm Malboro vines, you're better off selling them than making Hi-potions.

Wish SE would've pulled this shit off when CoP came out. Now its just sort of annoying, oh well, really now we've got reason to be spamming potions and ethers in Dynamis. exp, or just whenever now.

a FF game needs the usage of alot of potions and phoenix downs....whyy.....whyyyy no phoenix downs ;_;

Yeah I miss pheonix downs, and on top of that paz they added those hi potions drops, allthough they medicate you for 5 min they are super cheap :s. real nice for my ninja so far.I had wondered why hi potion tanks got so cheap. I have allways carried one.

I never used potions in FF games ; ; I always used Cure.

After a while in some FF games you don't even need cure.. Phoenix downs are good to spam against undead bosses though.

Pro-ethers are an absolute lifesaver when you need them. 5 sec usage cast, 250 mp regained, med for 5 or 10 min. It's worth the time farming arhiman wings when it saves the friggin day.

I think you'd be better off buying Pro Ethers from the Auction House than farming the wings. Killing Fachans on my BST in Ule Range yields like 1 every 3 hours. With a Thief, the thief finds some way to die. So I gave up on it. Plus the camp sux cuz people run through and aggro the nightmare bats, and those are the only pets there. SE too the bunnies away, guess they never really wanted BST to farm there or XP or w/e. There's no pets in the castle and I couldn't imagine the drop rate being any better there, and having to use Courier Carrie on Easy Prey mobs sucks. She'll only last like 1 or 2 fights. Idk if blm could solo em, since they resist sleep. So...

Yeah I go to Castle zvahl, there are too weak eyes that drop them, and with my Ice Shield(bst equippable btw) they're paralyzed fairly often, which works a lot better than tatami shield intimidation(in my experience as a farmer). I can get around 2-3 wings per hour on morbid eyes and deadly irises. I'm an incredible cheapass, so I won't buy the ethers. I haven't tried, and I wouldn't farm them as blm, but you should be able to just shred them solo as bst, even without a pet. Considering I only use them in emergencies, the 2 I keep on me at all times usually last a good while.

I sold my Ice Shield to slappy when I got a tatami. I think he sold it too. I could make another one, but Diamond Shields cost more than the Ice Shield is worth.

I thought the Morbid Eyes didn't drop them.

Did you sub thf when you got 2-3 per hour?

No point in farming them now, since I have 100 alchemy. lol
