After playing both games. I really can't say wow is difficult... at all lol. But i can't say ff is difficult either. The hardest thing that ff has, which isn't really hard its just the waiting around. Everybody knows it. FF is very slow paced, i see changes are being made now i suppose. But the older aspects of the game are still extremely slow paced. Its the sense of acomplisment in ff after doing all these things that the reward. But sometimes it back fires and you realize you spent way to much time on it .

yeah lol FFXI is just as easy as wow. Playing WHM to 75 took a lot less skill than it took to get my Priest to 55 so far. I mean I could just watch tv and throw out heals here and there on a whm. With my priest i have to pay total attention.


the games are the same but for small differences in style. FFXI feels like punishment when you play it. Thats what I hate.


Just because it takes longer to do something doesnt mean its harder.

even people who play ff know exactly what that means, you've never tried doing a bcnm ? trying to set it up for hours, waiting for other people to finish what they're doing. You've never sat there lfg. You've never tried doing a cop mission that takes about 35 mins to complete but because others are busy and late and others are doing other things it ends up taking about 6+ hrs?

Each and every person in ff have experienced that moment multiple times. You need to have an insane amount of patience, patience i have but i just don't have the same people around me anymore. I don't know how long you've played, but the guy typing this played ff for 2 almost 3 years. And i fully feel and understant that more than anyone else.

WOW, Yarr had cure spells!

But Mike and Yarr are correct, FF can feel like punishment. I really hated spending the time it took to start a party and then picking out a camp and then finally getting to camp only to have someone say "Sorry I have to leave"

I'll be on my 3rd year in June. When I wait for stuff, I usually talk to people until I go crazy, then I play my DS or watch TV.

I've never had a problem setting up missions, except Worms' Turn BCNM when people have to bring their friends, then their friends take 20398 minutes to get there. But I can wait that out most of the time.

and what if while you've been waiting or playing your ds. People go off and do it without you. Which has happened to me so many times.

another thing i hated was getting like invites right after another, and i really wana go with the second one but i do the right thing and go with the first party that asks, and we end up sitting in jeuno for 3 hours looking for a 6th and by the time we get one and go to the zone, the other party i was going to go with is in the same zone and now 3 levels ahead...

yeah, I hated the "what if" factor in FFXI. Sometimes I was wrong too.

Though I made my own parties 70% of the time.

I got that a lot on ninja. I'd usually ask what the parties looked like to decide which one I'd join. I didn't really do it to be mean, but I pay to play that job so I should have a right to know what kind of party I'm getting into. Or I ask them both for 1 million gil and see what they say . Oh yeah, one guy flipped out on me for asking what he had in his party one time. lol

I swear to God Whisp was the only bard to have problems getting party invites. lol

Anyway, BLU is slightly overpowered at the moment, and that's really ok because well, unbalanced jobs are fun. (<.<) No need to nerf it at all, especially if at later levels it requires more and more acc. gear to land melee spells and you sacrifice mp to do so.

Bludgeon spam pt at low level = jesus

Sorry if this has already been asked, but how many BLU spells are available?

Build your own parties irl. And sub warrior. I built my parties on thief, and they were usually great, and using /warrior is fun with a really low delay dagger.. lol

yes, all 3 have been reported at 75 across servers, but I've only seen a SS of pup at 75.

Meh, the way it was going for me, triple and double attack kept me going for a while before the animations caught up. A low delay dagger probably isn't necessary on warrior since you won't need to reduce the delay of two daggers.
