this thread makes me cry irl... i want a LS that is stable and does things... i keep jumpin into LSs that break in a month... i too strive for perfection with the time i have to play. Sure it took me 70 levels to get both of my sniper rings, but i got over not having the best equip. personally, i look up to ckd as a role model, a picture of what i can get in this game.

I never was in the original Hokuten so I missed all the "fun" with Yarr and Piro. Lets just say that I learned about how he is from he interactions with my perma and some friends. I remember that our perma and Murph's perma kinda help each other out on everything from Limit Breaks to AF quests. Althena was having trouble getting the bell for WHM AF3 and Piro /shout spammed Lower Jeuno with "F*** Althena and Murph I don't have time to wait." basically for no reason. Thus ended our two groups helping each other as often...

I understand what Yarr's saying about lowbies begging for help and expecting it from higher levels though. I know we had an alliance of 49-50's killing Liches for almost 2 weeks for the LB1 paper and after one person got theirs they didn't take off and leave... they stayed to help everyone else to get theirs. Same with almost everything when I was leveling up.

I think that paper hunt was the first time I met Mikey. I remember saying, "man I've been down here for like 5 days and I havent won a lot yet!" Then I remember hearing this outspoken taru scream something like "I've been here for weeks fool!" And it was Mikey.

yea we walked over to eldieme, joined up with mikey & shadowknight's party, i didnt really know what to fight or what drop to look for. after a couple of hounds and skeletons, a "piece of ancient papyrus" dropped. i cast lots and got like 950 and won it, still not sure what it was. everyone said Congratulations, then Mikey said, "I've been here 8 days." i felt so bad :(

Lol.... and I lost count how many alliances I've done for AF3 help.

I think the only AF3 that I didn't help with, was SAM, DRG and SMN..... other than that I've been in alliances (with mostly the same people too) to do AF3 for various people.

Would it be wrong for me to use this thread to ask for help on my LB1? :P

heh i got erase at like 60-65, got my dark staff and light staff at like 70 and even then some people were like wow you got a dark AND light staff? didnt get a vermilllion till long after i hit 75, was a different time i guess

I think I got my magicked skull the hard way with Hcc and Synergy (Maxius). The next month when I was finishing smn quest he was 70 or so, haha ;p

I probably would have hit 75 way sooner but I never lfg, waited on too many perms that died, and crafted too much ;p

I was one of those lowbies in Hokuten before it got broken the first time, but I didn't beg for help ;p I think I was probably 10ish levels below you guys when people started disappearing (into CKD) and I found a new LS (since I felt kind of useless in Hokuten anyway, and I despised asking for help).

So yeah that is the story of how I am not in CKD and have no reason to post on this thread ;p haha
