also on the idea of the new dynamis zone, itll probably be open to anyone after they complete some stupid hour task or something, they never really liked excluding a large # of people it seems, hence making sea easier to get etc

WS gorget, elemental obi, sea cape, +skill torque. Every gear they added recently in CoP were always accessory. That's why I think they might keep going that way.

I'm starting to wonder if the 7 item couldnt be related to those area. Mars Ring, Bellona Ring, Ninurta Sash...they are all related to mythology (I still think they are dropped by Love or Absolute virtue tho)

i'm pretty sure what armor they are wearing in those pics don't matter much, concidering i remember seeing pics of people in AF1 in the aquaducts, and the riverine sites. i would have to dig, but 100% certain of it. So don't hopes up yet. Only time will tell with SE.

yeah but Eromenos, thats different. Those pictures were released months before CoP was done. When those pictures were done the area probably wasnt done.

This is a feature added to next patch. It has to be about 90% read now or they wouldnt have show a picture.

yes your right. there were pics of ppl in full AF1 in aqueducts. and they always do that. Pretty much every SS of an up and coming thing will have ppl in AF1 or AF2. It looks better then just ppl in normal gear. The AF1 brings out the past ff's.

The CoP instruction manual, in fact, has a picture of a PLD, WHM, two RDMs and a MNK in the aquaducts in AF. So it's really anyone's guess as to what the level cap (if there is one) will be.

Also I highly doubt your going to need to have killed the Dynamis Lord. That doesnt seem the way that SE does things. Look at CoP, did you need to complete ZM missions to do them? I dont think you even need RoZ installed to play CoP.

Yeah, my bet is that you need to have beaten Diablos BC, and maybe level 70 if the zone isnt level capped already. Makes sense based on what the original Dynamis requirements are. And yeah, SE generally does it's best to keep different expansions separate.

I still think its going to have something to do with Dynamis for a few reasons.

• Why mention dynamis if it has nothing to do with it? Yeah ok it probably is just a Dynamis-Like zone, still, why mention Dynamis when it would be just as easy to say a new Multi Alliance BCNM.
• Stage names still point towards a Devil character in the later stage.
• ok I know its probably not Dynamis related but still, I'll never give up the fight!

Now. if this is the next stage of dynamis you can damn well bet Square would do something retarded and make people have the last Key-Item. I mean seriously, every patch that has something really awesome in it always has some crazy strings attached.
Square has this way of building something up for so long then having it turn out to be the biggest headache and time sink ever. Collecting AF2, Relic Weapons, That pet person thing and so on.

I mean as it stands right now that key item from Dynamis Lord does nothing. Why have a key item? Why not just assign a title after hes dead to everyone in the zone?

Dynamis isnt over and theres a reason they said "For people bored with Dynamis" or something like that.

whatever it is, I'm going to be first in line with CobraKayDynamis to jump in head first.

Am I wrong to assume when you get the key item from DL you get a CS? If that's right then that's what you need the key item for. It's probably going to be dynamis like but I doubt you need xara key item. Killing DL ends that story leg and like Lyndis said you probably need to be so far into CoP. That way they can push their expansion. You had to be rank 6 to enter Dynamis so im going to assume you need to get to Diablos to enter these new areas also. And for why they talk of dynamis, it is basically the only challenge left in game besides wyrms(well other servers kill wyrms all the time) so I would assume that's why they bring it up as well as it being dynamis like in nature.

To give an idea how it will work. :P Those area will probably be like dynamis in a sense you have to buy an item to enter inside, and you are timed to beat the area with a large alliance.

Nah, you're right about that. Promyvion and Dynamis arent really different, and Diabolos own them both anyway. There is a good chance it will be related to him (for the reason you mentioned above), but I don't see why it would be related to the Dynamis Lord and it's saga, and require the key item from Xarc (which is used to activate the cutscene as far as I understood).

On the other hand, you have Diabolos and Sel'theus (the kid) who are both related to the crags/Emptiness/Dynamis to some extent, and the ending make you wonder if there is anything for one of them after.


In any cases, I meet any requirement they could possibly choose So, FU all!




I really hope requirement won't be too hard to meet. People are gonna cry if it ask for Xarc keyitem or final CoP mission haha.

All the key items from each Dynamis zone activate a Cut-Scene. However the dynamis story is not over. Watch the cutscene again. A voice comes in to hint just that. The voice being Diabolos.

Dispite if this is the next stage of dynamis or not, it probably will feature Diabolos (classic FF character) and will tie into the Dynamis story.



In all honesty heres probably how it is going to play out.

• Player must have Rank 5 in any nation
• CoP Chapter 2 Complete
• Item must be purchased to enter (ala Timeless Hourglass)
• 72h cool down timer.
• Level 50 cap

However, I still think the story will go on to explain more about dynamis. The Dynamis story is far from over. Too many questions are left unanswered. After all, the Nation Missions didnt end after we killed the Shadow Lord. Although Im sure people thought it would. I doubt anyone saw the Dynamis Lord story spliting from the Rank 5 Missions.

I really hope it's not level capped, and if it is, then it sure as hell better be at least 60, so AF armor is available. Because if people have to buy a bunch of level 50 armor to do it, that's just plain bushleague.

The whole level cap stuff only existed to cover the fact that CoP was a content-less (not storyline-less) expansion. If they didn't force level caps on people. CoP would have been beaten the day people installed it. A group of 75 could have torn through the battles without much concern. (Granted I only beat the ultima/omega airship fight before I quit, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the rest of the fights could not have been -harder- without a level cap) Well, I take that back, actually, since they took like 8 months to finally release all of the CoP chapters, but you get my point.

With all the work that people have put into getting Dynamis shit, 3 kings shit and sky shit, it would be a total slap in the face for S-E to go "All that time and energy is now wasted, as you can't use your AF2, abjuration armor and upgraded relic weapons in this new challenge"

So I just really hope that this is not an approach that they'd choose to take, since I think it'd be a pretty low blow with no justification except for trying to get people to waste more time on some new system.

I'd rather see new, harder monsters that take new types of strategies and group combinations, than just level capped bullshit.

I like Ridere would like to see some new challenges that cant be answered by "omg throw 18blms at it or 18smns cause we no think good". I also hope they learned the lesson of CoP and actually BALLANCE the fucking BC's. I love how most need specific jobs unless you have 10million to spend on +1everything and hope to god you can win in 50tries. I didnt mind lvling another job up to 60 because I was planning to do that anyways but I dont think you should have to lvl a job you dont want to so you can see a story you DO want to see.
