Ero dont get all huffy, Karlyane said if we know anything about the wake or obituary in buffalo. i live in NY so i know theres a buffalo here, and there is also a rome NY (also karlyane said EST time so i thought it was because it was NY). i looked up for obituary because karlyane asked for any info and i found nothing. then i said "unless shes in italy this is fake". due to the fact that it took place in a foreign country the obituary would be delayed as to move her back to NY (if thats where shes from Buffalo NY).

But, there was never any reason to question either of them about it, everything seemed a little shady with this from the get knowing the folks involved, but I honestly would've never imagined someone pulling a "prank" like this. not amused

I'd just like to add that On Sunday night, Jan. 8, 2006, Lyndis and Karlyne were both doing Fenrir and helping me with my blm AF until late at night and Lyndis logged out around 2-3am EST as I recall. I am familiar with playing two characters at once and Lyndis and Karlyne were both being played by two seperate people.

Being in party with Lyndis for quite a few hours, we did speak and Lyndis stated she was studying History in Rome, ITALY during the time this happened. She just moved there not too long ago to go to school in Italy. Lyndis did mention that she did not have internet access in her apt. in Italy and she was at her relative/friend's apt playing FFXI Online. She did say that she was extremely tired and it was something like 8am her time in Italy before she logged.

I know that if her body is going to be sent back to the US to be buried/cremated then it will take some time to get shipped here, as my husband's aunt recently passed away in England and it took almost a week or so to arrive in her hometown. I surely hope this is not a hoax, but I believe this is real.

From what i hear and understand it was a hoax. It was a sad and pathetic attempt to get some final attention before " she" left. Worst fucking yet i'm hearing it wasnt even a girl it was a freaken dude... I'm kinda leaning towards her death being a lie. Its really sad that you couldn't quit the game like a man, and instead fake your death so people would mourn for you.

Seriously what did you want. People to cry for you and put you in their thoughts for you just to appear one day and act like your fine ? lol. maybe you were gonna make up a story how you were in the hospital bed for a couple of months with memory loss. And all you remembered was a purple dog floating around, to suddenly remember when you'd walk by your computer.

Its just sad somebody would actually pull something like that. For real, after playing the game for so long. From my perspective you do actually grow to actually care for the well being of others you've played the game for so long. And if something happened i would be upset.
