hmmm was DL on a tier of his own where he was only one lotting itmes
i dunno... if i was a pld with full af2 and a shadow mantle..i prolly wouldnt
lot against others for the ring... although he might desearve it... it would be better to have others obtain a rare item such as that

And yes he was on a tier of his own due to his join date relative to the other plds Diotrephes. A position which he has maintained due to pretty much perfect attendance for god knows how long.

And when it comes to the ring/mantle.... we do a dynamis lord run every 2 weeks now and in a month or 2 we will be doing a DL run every week probably. So getting the ring/mantle for the rest of our tanks (pld, nin, war) isn't an issue.

Lol, it's weird how when something like this comes up, suddenly a bunch of unactive people start posting here.

Ash, I love how you made an account here for the sole purpose of gloating about DL's drops. Really, does anyone care but you and a select few people? I mean kudos to him on getting 2 extremely good items, but I couldn't care less about the DRK who sucked cock for 3 years and finally got his Adaman Hauberk. Nor the PLD who waited 1.5 years to get the best drops off Dynamis Lord.

I would wish you luck in you future Dynamis Lord endeavors, but I don't like attention whores.

Seems like you have more posts than Asheress here, so who is really the attention whore?

And is it wrong for one person to celebrate another person's accomplishments? Especially something like this? And don't forget, this site (as much as I resent visiting it sometimes) is still a hub for information and some comical drama from time to time so maybe Asheress decided to use that.

Well what exactly didnt you want people who havent played to stop posting?

This whole thread is based on opinions not fact or anything like that. Its a topic congratulating someone for an accomplishment. Some expressed that it wasnt enough to warrent an "grats" or a thread of its own. thats an opinion.

I didn't say it doesn't warrent a grats or a thread of it's own, I even said kudos to him. I don't like how people will go out of their way to get attention. Saying DL is better than everyone, that he has some of the best gear for PLD, etc. Is gloating more than anything.

Edit: Balidorn, I don't really feel like quoting you right now. Not worth my time.

No where does ash say that DL is a better pld than another pld- although I WILL say he is one of the best plds I know. Asheress simply said that he is 5/5 af2 and has both shadow ring and mantle. You simply misconstrued the post into whatever fashion you saw fit Tracey.

Don't go to Vegas anytime soon Balidorn :lol: Technically, a couple people could have lotted against Ket. As a token of our appreciation, we passed the first Mantle on our own will. So it wasnt defaulted to him if thats what you're implying. And for mine, Zelphes and Jong lotted. So none of ours were defaulted.

Grats on the items btw. Never was a big fan of AF2 (except for hands) but its a decent accomplishment. Was skeptical about the Shadow RIng as well, but if it nulls 25% of magic attacks like someone claimed earlier in this thread, then that's awesome in certain situations. Grats again.

Ah ok. My mistake. Sorry.

And yes the ring is around a 15-20% proc rate which is sick...... Although it is quite hilarious when Kalade eats some massive spell and dies lol.

I just know I'm really interested in seeing a pld and some war's with both ring and mantle tank wyrms and kings. Now we will have the opportunity to do so with atleast a pld (and soon the wars).

I know the backpiece by itself and the ring by itself are nice items although people can do fine without them. However, combining both should be sick.
