I like to play with winamp. So I'll turn the game music down in the config menu on the game, but the opening music still plays and that's kinda annoying. Does anyone know a way to disable it by swapping in an empty sound file or something? |

That doesn't effect the opening menu music sadly. I have the music turned all the way down and the opening FFXI music still blares. I just don't let it stay there on that screen for long. I am sure you could replace the file if you knew which one it was with something different. |

FF3 says your brain tastes like chicken. But anyway where'd all the leet mod haxxors go? Kinda weird with the blood mods and the font and icon mods and the fafnir moogles, you'd think someone could do something simple like disable the opening music. /sigh |

u mean the opening movie and music of FFXI logon screen after u hit play? go to ur program files, playonline config and click on disable opening movie |

If you access your POL profile, same place u manage ur friends and msgs and emails and pictures, theres a place u can select what music will play on ur pol i believe |

That's just for the viewer, not the actual in-game music. |
