Looks like they're making changes to how the club is aquired. Too bad it took 4 years.

Yeah, I posted the text in the other thread just a second ago. Thats pretty crazy they are moving the K Club drop. Especially considering how game breaking a Kraken DRK can be on end game monsters.

I'm sure it's due to gilsellers. Seeing it on the AH history for 230 mil is just annoying. last time I responded to a shout for it in Lower Jeuno, it was still selling for 80 mil.

I'm hoping the change does make it more common, though. Kinda sucks only seeing LS leaders walking around with it, since they defaulted it to themselves, or whatever.

lol I remember Ilma and Hcc sold a Kraken for pocket change compared to that. I think the two of them sold it for like 20mil or something. Course that was an insane amount of gil back then.

I'd like to see it become more common, but I don't see that happening. They said that they don't plan on changing the droprate, just how it's claimed. So it basically sounds to me like they're just trying to remove it from the grasp of gilsellers.

Will probably still be rare as hell, which is unfortunate, because seeing an item as unobtainable in an MMORPG is a bad thing, if you ask me.

Casual Carl never had a chance at a Kraken Club before, and he probably never will.

Would be funny if LoO now dropped a dummy item called "Gilseller Tears" or something, though. haha. With a funny description, or something.

That hat would be pretty nice for RDM or BLM with no AF2 hat. Hopefully it looks cool unlike the MAB + 2 turban all the BLMs are wearing these days that looks so fucking ugly I never bothered to purchase it. I never had any magic accuracy + gear for BLM so I don't know how well it could help with resist on nukes. I had magic accuracy + stuff on RDM and I really noticed it helping enfeebles land. I played RDM/WHM like 90% of the time and rarely nuked as RDM so I never tested magic accuracy for nuking. I also quit the game when I got the job to 75 lol.

Those feet would also be very nice for RDM enfeebles. Almost so good I bet RDM can't use them haha (like Rostrums fast cast).

SE has to do something when you see 5 groups of RMT 6-boxing accounts for total of 30 guys botting Kraken placeholder. That's just plain retarded. Hopefully, SE will implement more changes like this so that guys running multiple clients off of windower can't exploit the game in this fashion.
