Post subject:  How to become a member of The Dojo.
As some off you may have noticed I took down the application board. I did that for a few reasons. It was starting to frustrate me that people didnt even bother to read the stick threads I took the time to update. I also didnt like the bad feedback I received. I really didnt like it when I had to say no to someone who applied but didnt even meet the requirements. Too many people were taking it personally when they applied and did not get in. To be honest, if you applied and didnt get in that doesnt mean you arnt "skilled enough" 9/10 times it was because we already had enough players for that job.

So since no one read the Stickies and because people seem to take it personally I will no longer have open applications to CKD. People who are interested can PM me. From this point on I will talk to people who I would like to join CKD.

My main goal is to get rid off this "elitist" title that someone seems to have given us. CKD isnt hard to get into because we only accept top players or people with X skill and Y attitude. I personally just like to keep the ls small. Just enough to kill Kirin and enough to kill HNMs on the fly. The less people the less problems. The less problems the more happy everyone is in the shell. :wink:

You don't have to explain yourself Yarr. It's your uber Link Shell, and you have expectations. Case closed. I just hope people will stop giving you that bad feedback in due time.

Yeah, people who are complaining about the CKD not letting just anyone in arent thinking very clearly...If you cant handle dynamis or HNMs you dont serve a purpose, thus have no reason to be on the ls.
Also kinda sorry about always applying with my low level job, i know im gonna get turned down, just doing it as a friendly joke til if and when i get accepted ;)
I'll /tell you when I hit 70, you better count on it. Tonight I should hit 50....so....um....yeah ~_~;;

Thats sad to hear that yarr but I know better to check all the info and know when I can do this or not, So I would wait until I have the skill and level of those jobs high to get in. But I am going to try out the Dynamis raid and see what I can do and learn pass limits of PLD can do. And yes I am a quick learner when comes to skills to any jobs also. 8)

Obviously, those who complained haven't read the sticky. I want to eventually apply but I know I just can't right now due to my level and LS being quite full in PLD. Leader position is a big responsibility and I can easily understand your decision Yarr.

Figure on Yarr taking down the boards on the very day I got sky (knew that was a requirement) and had my post all figured out about what I could and could not bring to CKD.
