(how many times have I quit and come back now?) Although, theres something different about this time...I got alot of my friends into it back when I played hardcore...they played about 15 levels in or so, and quit due to circumstances NOT game related. (They loved the game, they disliked certain people on Ifrit server) So I'm gonna be starting over 100% fresh. New name, face, race, job, server. Heres what I wanna know: I still have everything with my PS2 for FFXI, but I want to have a completely new account...how can I go about getting a new account? It seems to me like the only way to get new account login info is to purchase another copy of the game, simply for the info in the back of the book. Is that true, or is there some way to get a new account from scratch without buying again since I still have it installed on the HDD? |

Lemme ask another way around this... My old account is CLUTTERED with stuff, is there anyway I can like.....wipe it clean? Also, another question, and kind of stupid, how do you delete friends from friend list? (all these years i never deleted ANYone from my friends list.) EDIT: BTW....complete change of plans on the new start, lol. I talked to my friends who are getting into it with me, and they said it would be easier to play on Ifrit again since they still had their like 15 level or so characters. Also, how important is it to get the Aht Urgan expansion? I've got RoZ and CoP already, just wondering if ToA is worth it from the start to get or if I can hold off on it. basically, aside from being a blue mage, puppetfucker, or pirate, I dont know much about the other aspects of it. Is the story line good? New areas? What general lvl do you need to be to experience the better parts of it? Hopefully its not like when CoP came out and I got my ass bitten off by Antlions 1hr in. |

You delete friends on the pol friends area, if you're on ps2, it's before you log into the game, move the clicker mousey thing to the top right corner and some menus appear, choose friendlist, highlight a friend, delete. ToA is laid back compared to cop and there's bunches of crap to do. You can't really exp there til late 50s though. |

Yeah, if you're over level 55 or so it's probably a good idea to get ToAU. Otherwise you might have a hard time finding an EXP pt, since hardly anyone EXPs 55+ in non-ToAU areas >< R.I.P KRT ; ; |

and vivi, if you bought a new game for the new acocunt, youd need to buy all the expansions again because they are already registered to your old account. |

I would never be able to start back over in FFXI lol. That's a bit too hardcore for me. If I were you I'd bring back your old character. I'm considering re-instating Ephit for a month then cancelling, just to ensure it doesn't get deleted. Who knows if I'll ever feel like dropping in again. I won't lie, the thought still crosses my mind! |

Riiari lies i got a KRT party on my 54NIN not everyone likes a bird in ToAU that steals your food constantly, steals TP, and has a move that takes all 4 shadows. I agree tho, DO NOT start over, im working on BRD in the dunes now, and there is hardly ever anyone looking for group, and ive sat on ninja lfg for a while as well, not many people leveling jobs lower than 70+ now it seems. |

Not starting over, thats why the post I made was edited to say "Change of Plans on the starting over part" Also, I dont have my 360 anymore, otherwise I wouldve bought the xbox version. thanks for the help on the friends list thing, I'll be getting everything registered and stuff today sometime if any of you guys still play. Like I said, I'm deleting all friends, so take a minute to add me in game if you want. I think it'll be a good experience getting to play with some of the people here, theres alot of you I've already met and played with, but theres still quite a few I only know through the forums, so hopefully I can meet you guys and actually play. And as far as leveling goes, it wont be a problem, between me and all my friends, were playing characters that will form a good party and we play at similar hours, so we're basically gonna form a static. Also....I hate asking everytime I restart, but does anyone have any gil/equip they can loan/give to me and my friends? I never hang onto my own things whenever I quit. |

Yeah I have way more than 20 merits lmao. That makes me crazy I guess, but they do improve your character significantly depending on which ones you do and what job you are of course. Gets boring as hell as a 75 BRD after a while though. |
