Not sure how many of you guys still play, but I'm getting frustrated with my current LS.

They're a bunch of great people, but very rarely do they do anything without any type of self profit, which is making it really hard for me to get anything I need from an endgame LS done. (Sea access, Sky runs, Dynamis Key Items, AF2, etc)

I was wondering what endgame linkshells people here are currently in, and if they could give an idea of what their typical schedule consists of, or link me to their website or something to find out.

You know, seeing as I'm a pearlsack holder now, I've offered several people who I have seen as good party members, good players, and good people in general the idea of reforming an active CKD.

No, because my LS won't help with CoP and their schedule dosn't work with mine for Dynamis usually. (Can only do maybe 2 runs a month with them)

Honestly, I don't really have a problem with Atariii, they get alot of crap from people saying they are botters, but has anyone really proven that?

Who's the leader of Atariii? I wanna get an idea of schedule/application requirements, etc.

And Fatesealers, I guess aren't all bad, I remember Madi being in FS for awhile too (I think I remember that correctly)

Honestly, I don't browse enough internet forums or pay attention to peoples bitching to know all the ins and outs of Ifrits major linkshells, but I figure the drama level is just as high on one of them as it is on all of them, so i really don't care.

hrmm i dunno what lses do their own dynamis as well as sky still.. most bigged endgame lses mostly do kings and hnms now. perhaps some sea and sky depending on whether ppl farm items or have done the missions to have access themselves.

I'm somewhat interested in trying out Diabolos on BLU.

I think we have some members who still need Sea. I think Youngspartan (the new Daimien, he got his own account finally) is on Ouryu I think.

We're not very big on helping people do COP missions, but I personally wouldn't mind so much since now there's an XP reward.

We don't do sky much at all. If you really want to do sky, SPQR isn't the right linkshell for you. You probably need Sea for half our events.

Deci wants people with Sea, but I personally think he should make an exception for you if you want to join us. You're a taru, you're BLM, you're gonna lvl RDM next. You're perfect. Promy Missions aren't that bad now. They're just ENM's w/o the Dragon Bones. And Deci likes ENMs.

I dunno, Sea is a requirement of pretty much any major LS right now, but you pretty much said it yourself:

Thats the thing. Nobody is.

Except for other people who need them (whom I hate...I tried forming groups with these people, trust me...ugh... the new gen of FFXI players just keep getting dumber, and dumber, and dumber...)

You should talk to Vector about his dynamis shell, we go on Tuesdays and Saturdays (I have gone last 2 runs as I've been working on my PC) and it's a Tier system but most AF usually rots (except for blm :p).

I don't know what Dynamis zone we're doing tonight but they usually enter around 5 p.m. PST. If you're able to talk to him before then maybe you can come and test it out with us, see if you like their way of doing things.

Its cool for me but my only complaint is that we don't kill NMs that charm with melee. That takes all the fun out of doing Sandy and Beau zones and makes them almost like bastok (boring>.>). :/

As for the other things, I think most of the HNM/Endgame shells are going to want you to have sea (not just sea but the ability to enter both zones inside the tower) access already.

As BLM you are very useful in every COP mission atleast. I had a hell of a time getting sea access. It's shocking how many people have access...getting through it all is a real pain in the ass IMO.

I had some good friends (who already had access) hold my hand through most of COP...then I quit teh game after realizing sea sucks haha! I liked Limbus but didn't like farming towers.

Thanks alot for you guys' thoughts and opinions (Except Ponuh)

Also, something that has come to my attention, that as I look back, I worded things somewhat badly.

I am NOT bashing PD in any way/shape/form. Everyone on PD has been nothing but nice to me since I joined, especially considering I don't meet their requirements to even BE in their linkshell (Only had permission through a linkshell merger)


I'm just not happy with how little I see people help others below them. I'm a "lesser" member by far (not as much experience with events as others, not caught up in missions, etc) and I sometimes feel that because of something like that, people in the LS are less inclined to help.

Basically, all too many times have I asked for help with things, and not even been acknowledged...

My initial post in the thread was worded poorly, and I apologize for that~

If you want to take offense at me pointing out that you're saying you need a better guild and yet can't even go to the places they fight in then go ahead. I'm sure you can get by on your notoriety alone
