holy crap i know that Tonberry =_=;; Its one of my convention buddies...that photo was taken from either Ushicon '04 or A-Kon '04...i helped make that costume -_-;; Of all the cosplay pics you had to bring up it would be one im related to... AND I TOLD HIM TO WALK SLOWLY ON HIS KNEES!!! It adds to the "that guys kinda creepy" effect. :D im such a dork ;_; |

no...its a tiny little prop hatchet...its supposed to be a Chef's Knife but i forgot to make that for him, he said he could make one and he made the wrong damn thing. i should make him carry a spatula for that. |

You know, really, that wasn't the best design for the face. I mean c'mon, how's he supposed to see? That lantern won't help him one bit, he can't see a damned thing anyway... :D Seriously though, he's way too freakin' tall to be a Tonberry. You can't put an Elvaan in there and expect him to pull it off properly. You need a Taru, really... Secondly, the knife. Wonderful, harmless child's-plaything. But you don't get the full Tonberry effect. Those things are nasty SOB's and you really ought to show it off. Give him a really big shiny REAL BUTCHERS KNIFE!! Yarrberry looks more scary by the second then. Especially as he creeps closer, just like the real Tonberries! I have nightmares of Tonberries.... they scare me so. First you see the lantern moving slowly forward.... and then the light reflects off the cute little blade.... and the next thing you know, you're lying face down on the jungle floor. Scary thought. Think about it. Good thing I have Reraise.... *whew* |
