Depends if i want loot and on what SC is being used, 80% of the time id take a DRK but for some things THF can be very nice to have like if you have 2 RNG and a NIN thf is the only way the NIN will keep hate safely. However DRK/THF can do this too... i dunno i tend to get as much dmg as i can when making a party, and ive made alot. QUite rare i invite THF's, but thats cause they are rarly around seeking post 60 |

The other DD will anything other than DRK and THF of cos. THF is great but i found post 60, it is more useful as a SJ or there fot drops. I believe in pure melee jobs, DRK WSs are the most dmging. As pointed out, i capped my GS and Scythe so I can close both lvl3 SCs.. don't think any other DD can do that. (let me know if i am wrong.. i looked at the chart and got confused again lol) |

if you are having any doubts about your abilities, don't. DRK is a great damage dealing job. I always witnessed a noticeable increase in hit percentage for DRK/THF over DRK/WAR, but both are great. Souleater is ooooober ;p almost everyone i know had a very, very, very hard time finding and/or making parties between 64 and 70. you're almost through the hard part. once you beat maat its clear sailing. |

Quit DRK, you don't even like it, trust me. Fact is, there's very few DRK between 69-72 right now actively leveling. Much more RNG, MNK, and WAR. Good for me, basically. |

Good for me, basically. i won't quit. i love DRK the problem is people don't appreciate our abilities. There are fewer drk at my lvl because many quit.. they quit because they are not meant to be drk start with. Along the way, these fake drks ruined the repuation of true DRKs since they just want to lvl fast and have crappy gears.... DRK is the most skillful melee job imo: you need know when to do ABS and what type of ABS you need to do. You need to know when to Stun, when to use SE and LR. After lvl60 if you sub thf, you have to act like a thf sometime running around to SATA off tank lol. Also, unless other melee, we are actually expected t cap two weapons at the same time: Scythe and Great Sword. Good DRKs are here to stay, you shall all kowtow to the path of Darkness |

If it's DRK/THF, I'd pick the DRK over THF/anything. Sorry thf :P However, if you are DRK/WAR, I'd have to say depends. It depends on how the rest of your gear setup since DRK/WAR will be the pure powerhouse without the ability to TA on the 3rd melee. (and yes, I don't get sa/ta on me, we get that onto our drg, and he jumps after mb, agro back to me - this is one of the reasons that I like drg). Maybe I am so used to DRK/THF as that was how my perm set up, but I always feel more comfortable to have a DRK/THF than just a thf/anything in the party. I can even tell how much faster we kill with a drk/thf than having a thf. This experience could also because I've never met a truely good thf in my "xp pt" other than Icy. Anyways, I love my drk <3 Rein. |

hi peejo!! my friend dug out couple phil. stones in altepa a month ago.. so i was trying to get hold of u.. last week i heard you quit the game because of the baby  that's a rare item indeed ^^v
i don't know if i would quit the game for it though.. but i guess when the times comes i will have no choice hehe.. my wife actually ask me not to use computer at all 1 year before we having a baby... i don't think i can live without a computer though... best wishes ! |
