Scanning for a virus wouldn't do crap. People can just code their own in, they wouldn't be picked up by scanners. Best bet is to not use at all. I heard the guy who made the Log Parser got screwed over by someone redistributing it saying the original site was down, and this person put a key logger in the "new" package. The real guy who made the Log Parser was confused so for some reason he downloaded it. He lost everything he had and quit the game. |

Actually the guy who stole his stuff made a post saying he was sorry and gave everything back to everyone he ripped off....go to the parser site, it's still being updated. |

Whoa, so that's how that happened. A few weeks ago, one of our guys got ripped off. He had been taking a break and his character logged on. Someone talked to him and got the response "I'm not him" or something like that. So then the real owner logs in, all the valuables in his mog are gone, he goes to the delivery npc, and sees his items disappear from the list. |
