Post subject:  Best Places for Farming??

Hi guys, I'm fairly new at this whole forum thing. I've been trying to find useful information on farming techniques. I'm currently lvl 30 drk, and I was wondering where & what to farm currently at my level. And how much to expect to get from any so place at for any so time. I'm trying to save up for some spells (aspir) and some rings i need in the future. But I'd just like some good advice from a bunch of experience playaZ. :shock:

want to save money? Quest for your scrolls. Aspir is actually one of the easiest spells to quest for and is a joke that people are paying 100k for that. Especially since the spell requires "Test Answers" and those sell on the Auction House for like 10k. So even if you didn't want to go fight wendingos for the Test Answers, you can still get the spell for like 10k. Do more research into quest, they are your friend, honestly.

At lvl 30, I'd suggest Pashow instead of rolanberry. You'll have less down time in pashow and less chances of aggro from the quads/ochus in rolanberry.
With the inflation, silk stacks are going for 20k, and tree cutting stacks are going for 100k. If you garden, you can turn that stack of cuttings into MULTIPLE stacks of saplings, which sell for 160k+ a stack, or can be used to (try to) grow elemental ores which are 120-300K a peice.
I would HIGHLY reccomend farming goobues in pashow for a stack of cuttings, garden them to sapling stacks, then use part of the profit for another stack of cuttings to grow for saplings, lather, rinse, repeat.
The gardening portion takes time, but saplings have a very nice rate when harvesting, and the profit can add up very fast with enough flower pots.

Porcelain Flower pot+tree cuttings+checking pots once per IRL day. Don't feed them. Harvest as soon as ready. = saplings
Saplings = nice gil.

The only real problem with the gardening is the flower pots tend to stick you on Mog Enhancement: Gardening, unless you have a strong element already in your mog house. That can easily be avoided by gardening on a mule account, though.

Edit: Waittaminit...I never noticed how old this post was...Dude man before me brought this right outta the grave...lol
