but seriously, none of that will help 90% of the current WHMs out there. Atleast its not going to help end game WHM. Lets face it, Banish Three will get used once ever 2 months like all my other offensive spells.

The new Blocking rules are total BS. If you block an attack you shouldnt take damage. I just assume they arnt going to change parry.

How about they make it easier to level shield. I soloed 10-15 EP gobs and got .3 shield skill. I think I made around 20 blocks too. With 100 shield that should have leveled faster.

Well supposidly Banish lowers ghosts physical dmg resistance =p

The shield thing might be cool... theyre increasing the block rate.

I remember way, way back when they'd mention like 10 things in an announcment then add like 20 changes and new spells. You could mess with this game forever, but I guess they're really running out of things to balance besides CoP stuff.

I want to see what new skill samurai got, and if 3rd eyes is much better (like utsu:ni), maybe Samurai could tank :shock:

Considering SAMs have A in parry, and emnity+ on their AF, I think SE intended SAMs to be kind of a backup-tank-thingie from the start.

Rice ball raise def and atk too, their AF give a ton of vit and hp, and they have the 2nd highest Hp I think. I dont think Samurai could become the best tank, however, it would be nice if they could be used like Warrior as backup tank or main in some occasion

Hey, I actually used Divine Magic when I did the Bomb CoP BC. hah hah. With that and the change to undead, it'll be interesting to see if WHM become like MNK in the KRT exp/merit point parties.

People may actually want to EXP with a WHM again. hah hah

I don't think people will be disapointed by this patch. They are adding goodies for everyone, unlike previous patch who were mostly about nerfing everything

Yeah even if the additions are sucky, at least they are *additions*.

This has the potential to be cool as well:

Merit Point System Additions

There will be several additions made to each job category, providing new job-specific abilities. There are two conditions for obtaining and using these abilities: the job to which the ability pertains must be set as the main job, and the main job level must be 75.

but I guess we have to wait and see exactly what it means. ;/
