Ok im starting a perma to pt around 10pm PST till whenever. Right now I have:
63 PLD -Ciric
63 WHM - Aeiron
64 RDM - Suli
62 THF - ME DUH!!

Im looking for BLM and RNG so if you have one of those jobs or know someone whe does LMK

cool. Sam is my back up for RNG. Ill give it a couple of days and Ill let you know. Can you be online from about 10PM PST till around 2 or 3 AM thats pretty late for you weirdo canadians :P

My friend Ephit is a 64 BLM. He is very good too...has lotsa bad luck with crappy parties lately. Only problem I think he will have is the time =X. Starting at 10 PST on weekdays is late for us with 9 to 5 type jobs ; ;. I'll ask him anyways.

bah grab a war/nin instead of the blm :P save your self alot of frustration for sata and hella nice DoT on war
and since you got a rdm you still get MB (not as strong but still better then nothing) :p
well just my 2cent if you cant get a blm haha
GL~ and remember perma are more to have fun and save frustrations~.^ cuz i know i coulda gaind lvls faster with out 1 but more stressed -_-;; wait i lied...haha
just make sure evry1 gets along or things wont turn out o so well :p

If u get a Blm and me heh a Sam Thf and Sam can do some prettty sick SC with big DMG and BLM to MB that.

I cant imagine having to level in this game with out Whisp, Scyth, Thunderstomp, Mikey, Nippler and Shiloh.

I mean I was lucky enough to semi perma with Znake and Alcrest from like 65-70. I mean I didnt like them at first, but those crazy basterds grew on me haha.

See Kaylia even Lazy says that war/nin are cool. But yeah anyway past lvl70 War/Nin usually outdamage black mage in exp party. But your party setup lack that godly elusive job known as bard.

Yarr, going through the same lvls on monk that I perma'd with the old gang, I am amazed at how successful the old perma pt with no dispel and no refresh/ballad. And the fact that we never had a decent skillchain, how did we survive? Granted, exp'ing was somewhat easier before the TP nerf, but I have gained a new respect for what we did lvl 40-60ish.

Pal/war
Nin/War
Sam/monk
Drk/red
Whm/blk

We did from 1 to 60 with that nearly never a 6th guy. It was hellish :lol:

Thats because we had the best players on ifrit in our perma.

yea my origional plans were pld, thf, rng, brd, whm, blm but My pld friend had a rdm that he wanted to join up with so I compromised. Im planning on starting asap cause i hate shitty pts. Id rathere get 3-4k all the time then 2k and once in a while a 6k per hour pt.

War sucks.


Seriously, I never said they were bad all the time. They do a very good job when you put them with another blink tank in the pt (another war or nin) and their damage can be nice with haste. However, war definitively suck at soloing (without markmanship) and their damage aren't too great all the time



Do you want to xp with other this week, I would like to get a few merit before next patch to get my the merit pts JA.

Static pt can get you a lot more than 3-4k/hour all the time. As long nobody is gimped and all player are good, you will get 5k per hour on every mob with any set up

Brd, war (tank), thf, drg, blm, rdm got us from lv 30 to 61 with 5-6k per hour
Nin, War, Brd, Rdm, Blm, Thf did the rest from 61 to 75
