Quitting is hard, and not comming back even harder. That's why I don't want to pretend I can do any of those. However, I still want (and need) to take a long break from this game.

But you shouldnt quit on a bad day like today. Wait till the patch next week to at least run around in sea once.

Either way you got 3 months to change your mind so not much pressure there.

There is more than what happened today Some irl issue, some in game...well, there is many things that killed my interest. I will be back eventually to finish CoP for you guys and maybe beat the game for good (assuming the final battle isn't much harder than pultima/omega) but I need to take some time off.

As for playing other game, I don't really have more interest in any of them than I have for FFXI right now

Seriously, though, just take a break from the CoP stuff. I know you like to help out and everything, but helping out too much can get frustrating, especially when you've agreed to help different people out with three or more things around the same timeframe.

Kay I hope that you come back. I didn't get to know you that well in LS but what I knew impressed me. You were always there for people, always willing to lend a hand. Your organizaion skills were awesome. Maybe, it's just "helper's hand" burnout, if so just let us know. I think we can give you the space to just have fun again.

I tend to believe that people in-game are essentially the same people irl, with a few more inhibitions. If so, you friends are lucky to have you.
