oh well... im starting to whore this forum since i cant play ff....so... i heard that DRG owns vs HNM....i read about that and found something i wasnt expecting to see.... the guy ( a rng) was talking bout his DRG friend in his hnmls... was giving good-decent and bad subs...

but what i wasnt expecting was : DRG/NIN! the way he was talking bout it it sounds great... but the problem is... 1: i need a joyeuse.... which i could get help from friends..... and the other thing... 2: what to dual wield with that???? DRG have no DMG 40+ swords... any idea?

I was under the impression people didn't use stuff like kraken club and joyeuse so much Vs hnm, due to the fact that the increased use of TP skills by the mob almost never worth the damage non rangers do =P

course that was the convential wisdom fo the day, it could be nowadays that people think rangers give just as much tp and do the same damage due to their long delays or soemthing.

Yeah the guy who wrote that guide is a real expert

Jaylin:
""bink" is a white magic spell that will absorb a hit or a spell (like Wateraga III forinstance) so you don't take any damage. It only takes one hit though. Some things can go through I shadow, but I can't think of any right now. Ninja's also have the blink spell as you probably know. "

"An HNM guide for DRG's (seriously) by a RNG!!!" lol fuck off.

The only decent post in there is by Iviijin at the bottom.

I'm pretty sure ur correct Vurin. Hitting for 1-2 damg and giving the HNM 13tp per hit is kinda retarded. I believe that is why a lot of HNM LS are going with the SMN and SAM jobs now. SMNs can smn avatars and use blood pacts every min and SAMs can pump out a WS every 3 mins or so.

1. you could probably solo with drg/wm for maybe 40ish xp. i did that from time to time

2. with drg/nin you'd probably to a freak mob ws before you got that heal from ninjitsu + heal breath

3. there is only 1 weapon for drg
