I want to make these, but not sure what my success rate would be? I'm 95 wood (+2 from apron and gloves). I'm not sure what the bonus from HQ support is (+3 maybe?)...I'm also 28k GP away from my desk, if you'd want to wait til I get that? I read on a forum elsewhere that a decent chance of HQing these isn't achieved til woodwork is 100, with all 3 GP items and HQ support because that puts you at 30 or 31 above the Elem. stave cap. Edit: at level 94 I attempted the staves 3 times...no HQ though so I stopped and decided to invest my gil into getting WW up even more... |

So Severus are you in the same school of thought as other people who think it's not worth trying to HQ these 'til 100? |

Well Rahst, I kinda have a woodworking mentor believe it or not he is from KFC. Hachi said to only craft them at 100+5 with synth support ONLY on windsdays and lightsdays. I thought he was bullshitting me until i seen him do it on windsday with a 40% moon he was 14/18 HQ. So it worked |

yeah, I heard something like that elsewhere. I just dread the push to 100...plus I'll have to level Smithing up for IronSplitters, currently smithing is 35.>< |
