Like the most recent news said on CKD's main page, we fought one of the newly added NM in Lumoria region. I'm positive it's the first time it was killed on Ifrit because we literally spent last 2 days there trying to figure the "puzzle" to pop it and at no time, another LS gathered enough people kill any of them.

{All right} 6 more to go and Kirin II (Absolute Virtue) is our :P

Here is a few pictures of the fight.

And the damages

how often do the h2h weapons occasionally attack twice btw

because if it's not that often indras are still the best :P 9 dmg is pretty low and 113 delay is craptastic too

Kay, can we defeat this one with a party ?

I wasn't there (was way too late for me) but from what I heard on lschat i think it would be near impossible to beat with a single pt. I think they got it to like 90% with just a single pt before wiping or something.

Had to call more backup in and pop it again.

Maybe a really prepared and perfect setup group of people could do it, but i dunno, sounds risky. A lot of the Sea stuff at the moment sounds very man-hour intensive. It takes a long time to farm pop items, needing a lot of people, and these NMs have a very very crappy drop rate in terms of extra pop items.

(Imagine if Olla Grande was harder, and the Winterstone was like a 20% drop... That's what i've picked up from hearing results of other LS on other servers. Sea better have some awesme rewards, lol.)

I'd like to try the weapon out but I doubt it's any good. It's probably like kraken club but h2h instead... looks cool and makes you think you're doing a lot of damage fast but you're just giving the mob tp.

9 dmg vs 19 dmg for H2H is a lot. They should have made the weapon at least like 15 dmg so the occasionally attacks twice shit would be occasionally useful irl.

Yeah it probably has some hidden stats/effect since SE loves adding gear that looks shitty at first but ends up being decent haha. Like maneater etc. Cant really test though since reins monks isnt 73 yet haha.

Anyway you should come on today for H2H torque irl.

Good luck if you try lol. It's not the hardest mob in game but he is still challenging.

Where you replace all mobs on the way by true sight thing.

We get more pop item trying to pop it then occasion to pop it.

These(IMO) are meant to be used with chi blast, Cause most monk know that when we switch to club/staff for chi blast our atk goes to shit.
This way you can have high atk and mnd bonus aswell.
Other than chi blast I probably would only use in ballista(... on Lipton)

Note to self: quit lagging on CoP missions >_<

Monk have good staff rating just cap it heh. But yeah its nice that you can chi and h2h at same time with it.

and btw the proc rate is like 90% or something and stacks with double attack.

i see you kayne was killed by Quake II can it be stunned? and how long does it take to cast?

Author:  Parade [ Sun Jul 24, 2005 8:47 pm ]
Post subject:

did you just ask how long stun takes to cast? or quake2? stun is almost instant.. quake2 would be as long as any other AM (long enough to stun it) but since npc/mobs cheat, im guessing a few seconds

These guys have spent at least 8 hours a day of not more in sea trying to figure shit out for themselves. Gotta give em credit ;p

Author:  Arim [ Sun Jul 24, 2005 9:00 pm ]
Post subject:

does it require some pop item?

and do you guys expect to see more nm's that require puzzles in that region?

Yeah we've killed a few others.
