Haha, i saw Poppu numerous times, in Bastok and in Dunes, back before they even had subjob. I tried asking them, but they didnt speak english. Anyway, much later on (more specifically, when Ballista was added) SE, in their patch notes, had a big list of the "icon order" (ie: the LFG flag shows above the bazaar icon, which shows above your linkpearl..) about half-way down was that icon, and it said "Trial Adventurer" Anyway, what I have heard since then, is that the icon signifies people who are playing from special events (imagine an E3 booth being set up with a bunch of FFXI accounts) or from Internet Cafe's, etc. Imagine them as running on a promotional version, lol. |
