Zilart is perma banned from FFXI, I can't believe no one has posted about this. Probably b/c no one cares but meh, this could be a good discussion topic.

I also heard that Vinnie was finally perma banned as well.

I need entertainment for my day at work ^^.

I heard it happened, although I haven't really heard what happened exactly. I can only assume he was GM called for something, and since he already had that other mark on, they terminated it.

As for Vinnie, I heard his account was perma-banned with a Kraken Club in his inventory, ouch.

From wah I understand, there is a flaggin system for players suspected of hacking/cheating now. If you are reported/flagged, you will be monitored and delt with accordingly. This has nothing to do with Zilart or Vinnie... just saying in general.

Zilart got pulled from our Dynamis-Xarc raid to Mordian randomly, and that was the last I ever saw of him. He could have been back sometime between then and another ban, I don't know. I just thought it was odd that he would get taken from a Dynamis run like that.

Im not at all surprised he was ban. He cried and cried about how innocent he was yet here he is. Ban.

Im not at all shocked Vinnie is ban. I had many people tell me him and Imaulle used hacks as common as most people use JAs. Talisin and Vinnie use to be good friends when they were in their low 40s and I agree'ed to trust Vinnie. Although when someone isnt in my linkshell its hard for me to spy on him and so on.

I think its awesome to see people who used hacks get perma ban.

Well with Zilart went, C. Legs, M. Body, Kirin's Osode, C. Hands, Seiryu's Kote, and quite a bit of other stuff, still doesn't add up to the Kraken Club though.

Why did he have a Seiryu's Kote? did he have a 75 nin or rng? Id kill any Paladin who decided he should get that kote over a rng or nin.

He had 75 RNG i believe.

Although as far as I know, since the Ranger update, the Seiryu's Kote are no longer all that great for Rangers, if even good at all.

haha, I have a funny story about Zilart.

a few weeks ago I was in Tavnazian Safehold getting ready to do #A01 mission. I was running around getting cutscenes and then went to the moogles to get onto RNG, I was PLD at the time. Zilart was there and he waves to me, and sends me a /tell saying right away "I dont hack" and then I was cracking up, he didn't even say hi, all he said was "I dont hack" and we got into a conversation about how I didn't care, but he refused to shut up about it. So I just walked away.

I can guarantee that he had the shield and lots of currency on him. He just sponsored an OMGLOL raid not too long ago. Plus he's been buying currency like crazy to upgrade the shield. I gave him FS's Amelthia Hide to upgrade.
