New Quests! Take a look at the exciting new content scheduled for the upcoming version update. - The Sequel to "Storms of Fate" The quest "Storms of Fate," which brought players into direct conflict with the mighty Bahamut, was introduced in the December 2005 version update. This February, prepare for the next chapter in this epic story with a new quest to challenge the most powerful of adventurers. *The Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia expansion discs must be installed and registered in order to undertake this quest. Certain storyline progression in both expansion discs is also required. - Prime Avatar Battles Up until now, there have been other quests that allowed players to test themselves in battle against the prime avatars. In this new quest, however, the protectors of the protocrystals will be stronger than ever before, requiring adventurers to rethink old strategies. This quest will allow a maximum of 18 people to take the field against these more powerful manifestations of the avatars. Quests that hint at adventures to come, as well as many other additions, await you in the February version update. Fun! Even more powerful avatars! Maybe this will be how Summoners can obtain their high level nukes? Just random thoughts. I guess no more soro'ing avatars. |

SEsaid the new abilities would be through merits, so i'm banking on that, but 18 man fights against avatars sound interesting, I wonder what the prizes would be |

I wonder how long it take for a programmer to add a new avatar BC. I seriously doubt it take more than 5 minutes to add the BC, 10 minutes to write the story and another 2hour to figure out 5 reward that suck so badly no one will want them. |

I totally beat Pix to the post, haha, oh well. Back on topic: I think its interesting you need to have reached a certain point in Rise of Zilart to undertake the next part of the Bahamut quest. I don't remember anywhere in the CoP storyline where you'd have to have done something in Zilart, but maybe I'm wrong, haha. And yeah, new Avatar battles seem a bit odd. |

There is still green unused teleport in sky...maybe. Didnt you see in Sacrarium a picture of sky with bahamut flying over? |

the SS looks like an all avatars at once type bc (or maybe like 3 at once, or maybe they come in waves..), instead of making insanely powerful single primes bcs that are enterable by 18ppl alliances.. either way I'm curious as to what the reward(s) from the bc(s) will be though... very interesting indeed. and why all the love for smns all of sudden? |
