• Since the May 15th drop-date, New Super Mario Bros. sold at a nonstop rate of roughly one every four seconds nationwide during the reporting period.
• Even though New Super Mario Bros. was in stores for only 13 days this May, it was the No. 1 game of the month.
• Since June 11th, a whopping 136,500 DS Lites have been sold. Retailers have been reporting sell-outs.
• The DS Lite is outpacing the 2003's launch sales of Nintendo's Game Boy Advance SP powerhouse.
• According to major retailers, sales of Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day tripled over the previous week thanks to the DS Lite.
• New Super Mario Bros. also got a DS Lite power-up with retailers reporting double the sales.

Eat it PSP. Yeah, that's right. Yeah!

I think there's only a "DS Classic" in Pink so far. If you saw a Pink DS Lite, then it was probably some kind of custom-made shell.

Don't think you have to worry about another DS for some time. But there will probably be another super amazing one that comes out, but lacks like GBA support or something like they did with the Gameboy Micro. The Lite is definetely worth it though. Just hope you get one without any dead pixels.

I just got the black one yesterday. If I had known it was this good, I wouldn't have waited for black and just gotten white.

it feels heaving than my old DS, but i dunno if its 'cause its imported or not.

the only problem i have with it is the new button layout is taking me a while to remember power and start/select

because i always acidently hit it. and i just think its lame how nintendo needed to copy some one elses idea, its a first.

No one man. All of the console developers copy little ideas like that. We run into trouble (or rather, I get pissed off) when someone like Sony tries to quickly steal a major design feature like motion sensing and try and half-assedly incorporate it into their controller a week before E3.

Yea, return it, there were a number of NA DS Lites with that problem.

He didn't abuse it. Dead/Malfunctioning pixels is a very common DS problem

i was kidding, haha dead pixles is a commong problem in alot of things, including my sidekick, im kinda dissapointed, 2 days after my 14 day warrantee thing ended i noticed a single orange dead pixel in the center of my screen, ACK.
