Not sure, right now its only via VGA (monitor omgz). I wonder if there is and how much a VGA to HDMI adaptor costs. Might want to look that up. I plan on getting the VGA adaptor for 360 eventually.

All you would need is to get a couple adapters to make a VGA signal HDMI, but i doubt it would be exactly the same quality

Wow the more I read about the 360 HD DVD player the more I want it. That download Eternus mentioned is awesome. It will allow the 360 to play native 1080p HD DVDs (via VGA). The only other HD DVD player that will be able to do that is the Toshiba HD-XA2 which doesn't come out till mid-late December and rocks a $1000 price tag. The more I read about the BLU Ray and HD DVD war it seems HD DVD will most likely be the future standard over BLU Ray. We really can't know for sure yet though. I wonder how long it will be before we see a huge drop in price.

I am going to buy one. For $200 you can't go wrong lol. It even comes with the King Kong HD DVD which I hear looks awesome.

Holy shit this game looks fucking awesome in 1080i. I seriously can't believe how good it looks. I don't really like the gameplay so far...it's just not my kind of game.

I never liked Halo of any of those games. I don't know why I felt so compelled to buy this lol. An rl friend conviced me this game isn't a typical fps and it's a lot more fun. I still don't like it. Metriod Prime series is the only FPS types game I like. I'll be trading this at Game Stop tomorrow Already completely lost interest.

I didn't like Halo either. It was extremely mediocre and the epitome of everything cliche and stupid about first person shooters, nay, video games in general. Yet strangely I'm also drawn to Gears of War.

Its an excellent multiplayer game, but as a single player game is loses its luster very quickly. It is very beautiful of course, no denying that. And controls are solid. But it isn't the most original game ever. Its really the fact that something finally looks next gen thats getting people to buy it quickly

I'm not too into shooters but I love Medal of Honor and Metroid Prime. I have Killzone and I like it but it's too FPS for me, lol. I can't just sit down and play through it like I can MOH or Metroid, only take a level or two at a time then put it down for a while. I've only played Halo once and it was 8 vs 8 multiplayer, pretty cool but jesus christ I sucked at it.

There are rifle/pistol games and there are machine gun/grenade launcher games, I like rifle/pistol games.

you use the the analog controller, the back button to shoot, and the A buttom to take cover and strafe. There i just spared you 2 long boobless hours.

Yeah I got it for multiplayer mostly. Gears of War isn't totally a FPS as the game is played in 3rd person and switches to first person only when you aim. I will finish the single player before I even start doing the multiplayer shit. The way the entire cover and evasion system works is fun, but its all hitting the A button. The run mode (forgot what its called) is really cool and works smoothly when you get the hang of it. The melee with the chainsaw is almost a dice roll it seems. You can miss it and then get killed. You can revive your teammates but they don't revive you. Multiplayer sounds interesting as far as how the characters handle different weapons. Gives each person a role. The co-op multiplayer I am sure is fun as well.
