So who is playing this or played it already? Is it good? I bought it on my lunch break today. The only Castlevania games I played all the way through are NES 1, 2, and 3 - Gen 1 bame Boy (first Castlevania game that came out on it) - and SNES Super Castlevania. I have missed a big gap in the series lol.

I've been reading the manual at work and this game looks pretty dope. I like that you gain experience from killing mobs, and you get HP + MP for spells and shit. It looks like it has a good multiplayer co-op setup as well. I am still not finished with FF3. I've been at the end for a while now, doing sidequests and trying to level characters to 99...but getting bored. I think I'll just beat FF3 tonight and start this. It looks awesome.

Can't play til christmas lol.

Kluya go buy Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, and Aria of Sorrow for Gameboy advance, along with Dawn of Sorrow for DS. lol

If you can find Symphony of the night of course pick that up for ps1. I can't believe you've never played the later castlevanias. Symphony was the first with the rpg elements and since then the games have followed Symphony as the archetype. They're all very similar but somehow they just don't stop being fun.

Right but comparing CotM to DoS is like comparing final fantasies, CotM is only "meh" compared to a really kickass castlevania, it beats the shit out of "normal" games. haha

I played them in order though. I actually still haven't played DoS (yep) but I'd say Aria of Sorrow>CotM>Harmony of Dissonance. Aria is too easy compared to the others but it most resembles SotN.

I honestly don't know why I never played those Castlevania games. I loved the older ones. After I get caught up with everything else I'll check them out.

I agree...too many good games coming out/already out. I'm exhausted from my FF12 grind still lol. I usually take my sweet time with video games and take a little break between games, but I feel overwhelmed right now.

I can't wait to play a Castlevania that's so RPG like.

I put it on my christmas list. When I went to get DoS, I couldn't find it, and I've never played any of the other ones. I'll go look into the GBA ones.
