I had 2 different chances to get a PS3 if I wanted. I actuly had a chance the 1st time i think like under the 1st week when it came out i think it got released on friday right? and i was at EB games on the folllowing Wed. I went in asking about a Wii. I was in line and they asked "60 gig or 20" i think it was i was so confused i asked for Wii they said we only have PS3. I said nah I want a Wii. haha you should have seen the Faces of the guys in line for the PS3 hahahahah. I do the shiping and Recieveing for my job and EB games is like 2 doors down so When I was getting a Shippment in there was a bit thing of PS3s on the truck and they guy said hey going to drop these off at EB games get in line now if u want one. And there was like 4 ppl at EB games lol.
Was talking to mikey in Textes during that second time haha.

My Mom wants to buy me a Wii for Christmas but she has no time to look. She said to find one and she will pay me back. I still can't find them here. I just went to Target and they had 2 60 Gig PS3s and no Wii lol wtf. Nobody was even standing by the PS3's. It gave me an adrenaline rush just seeing them. She said she would pay me back for one of those but I'm not going to take a $600 gift. I don't feel right doing that. I'd much rather have a Wii.

toys r us and best buy usually get about 50 or so in on sunday mornings (at least the ones here do) get yourself a couple layers of clothes and a blanket and camp out. there's a few websites out there that track what stores in your area are getting shipments but i'm too lazy to go look for you.. well, also because i don't see you as the kind of person who's gonna waste a sat. night camping out at a toy store for a video game system

I promise you if I could rewind time, I'd be camping out at Best Buy the night before Wii first released lol. I didn't think it was necessary at first

I looked online and Toys'r'us here is selling them Friday the 22nd in $500+ bundles only I also found local ebay sellers selling them for $250. I may just do that and meet up with them irl so I don't have to pay for shipping lol.

I camped the first night, lol. It'd suck ass to camp now, mainly because the temps are below 0 at night. I suppose that wouldn't be a problem in Arizona.

there is a future Shop near my place and got 30 ps3s in and only sold 5. they still ahve 25 left no one is buying them lol

I am amazed how long it stayed warm here this year lol. It just started really getting cold (for here) a couple days ago. And by really getting cold I mean like 50s in the day high 30s at night lol. I would fucking die in below zero weather. I don't think I've ever experienced below 0 anywhere. The thought frightens me.



Damn I figured PS3s would be hard to find everwhere for a while. I guess it isn't as bad as I thought. I bet the parents who bought $2000+ PS3 Christmas presents on Ebay for their spoiled kids, are gonna feel stupid.

I got a ps3 yesterday, Toysrus forced a bundle on us for 2 games and a gay warranty...total was like 825 or something, i am splitting (but paying more) for the system for christmas

Yeah stores near here have several PS3s in stock and they aren't exactly disappearing. If I had the money at the moment I would have bought one. Everyone wants a Wii and nobody can find one. Hell my friend Garrett who doesn't even play videogames wants a Wii.

resistance and fight night 3, i probably wouldnt have gotten fight night but i was talking to my mom on the phone when she was at the store and i was out somewhere, so if i was somewhere where i could check what games they had i probably wouldve gotten marvel ultimate alliance

i play resistance alot, the online deathmatch's are insane. If you see Dustdevil, its me. I have fight night also, it equally fun online.

Man, Resistance looks like the definition of "generic First Person Shooter" to me.

It is. I played that at my friends house and it failed at being fun. I seriously dont see how that game got such good reviews.

It got mediocre reviews, but compared to the other fare that was being offered on the PS3 it looked like a killer-app, lol.

Game Informer gave it a 9.5 and tied it with Gears of War for Game of the Month. I had a huge whoooaaaaaamg when i read that lol.

from what ive been reading the Multiplayer is really good for a console FPS, can have 40 players online no lag and no hit on graphics, and its apparently really fun

I almost bought a 60 gig yesterday. Best buy had a ton of them and they announced it over the loudspeaker every 5 minutes with big signs everywhere. It was slowly sucking me in. Still no fucking Wii

actually guy.. i think they did a good job with that. The game does support voice chat.. Just because sony choose not to shove a ps3 branded overpriced headset onto people doesn't mean you can't grab just any old usb headset.

Usb headsets are supported ( gotta remember ps3 is more like a pc). If you already have one your ready from the get go, and the game has software built into encourage vc.
