Get it for Gamecube, you will love it. The controls are good on gamecube. I'm going to play it on Wii when I get one. It will be fun going through it again. I really want to see how the Wii controls work for it. There's a couple parts I imagine would be harder with the Wii controls. It's not a very difficult game so far. The puzzles are the perfect level of difficulty, they are fun and not frustrating. Lots of puzzles in this game (of course...it's Zelda).

I haven't died from normal exploring, dungeons, bosses, etc - but I've gotten multiple game overs in a row on 1 part that should have been very easy. I still have a long way to go, so we'll see if that lasts.

On another note I played Zelda 1 on NES last night at a friends house when I was drunk. I really sucked at it

I played it some on a friend's wii system, and holy shit, I was absolutely entranced. This morning my dad, brother and I got up at 5 AM to search for Wiis because of the shipments got in last night.. But we were just barely too late for all of 'em. ;_; Ended up being #18 out of 15 in one line, #20 out of 18 in another.. And #10 in the mall (there was heat in there. It was nice.) but they only had 9. /sigh.

There were plenty of PS3s in stock though, haha.

damn been trying to get a ps3 lol

I'd buy a PS3 in a second if I saw it for sale. I want a $600 Blu Ray player lol.

I still like reading user reviews on this game all over the net. I've seen several reviews where people complain it's more comparible to Final Fantasy series than Zelda. I've also read other people say this doesn't deserve a Zelda title and OoT was much better blabla. This game is more comparible to OoT than anything. I don't even need to explain why...if you've played both and you feel differently we can discuss that (other than Wii controls). OoT was my favorite Zelda ever and one of my favorite all time video games. This has me feeling the same way. It's nothing like a Final Fantasy lol. I can't believe somebody would even say that. If this is like a Final Fantasy then so were the last 3 console Zelda titles.

I honestly don't see how ANY Zelda fan could dislike this game the slightest bit. If anything, a Zelda fan should be in love with how great the game is. Just like Final Fantasy XII I came into this game expecting it to give me oral while I play. And it does more! I like it more than FFXII by a lot. It makes me wish I had vacation time left so I could stay home and play 24/7 lol. I can't stop thinking about it.

Everybody with a Gamecube and no Wii needs to go buy this game right now, so I have people to talk about it with! It's not sold out in stores. Go to WalMart or Target fuck EB and GameStop.

The Wii version is pretty different! Everything is mirrored from the opening video to the world map to the dungeons (I already knew about it, but didn't know it was to that extent). The mirroed maps really fuck with my head since I got so familiar with GC ones. The controls are pretty fun and A LOT different. I'm not used to them yet. It tells me to point my wiimote at the screen often lol.

The graphics look better than GC on HDTV thanks to the native widescreen (stretch ftl). I love the Wii so far

Just started playing the GC version. I'm about 4 hours in and it's pretty fun so far. The story actually reminds me a lot of metroid prime 2 so far lol.
