I was sure there was another recent thread about this somewhere but couldnt find it myself.

I've been playing the a "cracked" version of the demo which basically gives you extra maps and removes the "This is a demo" graphics from the end when you quit.

They have gone for a beginners version in releasing this, the AI is plain stupid and criminally easy to beat even on hard mode. It's actually quite depressing when you spend a long time preparing your attack to see it succeed without even trying, but aside from that it is extremely fun. Once the controls are gotten used to you can do some amazing stuff, have your air transports automaticaly pick up land units and drop them in the battlefield is very useful, graphics are amazing and fully 3d.

Maps are huuge even in the demo, it's hard to say how balanced the game is because you cannot play mulitplayer in it, just against the AI which doesn't really try very hard. You can nuke him to death and he won't try to stop you at all lol.

I read peoples thoughts on the beta and was impressed with the AI analysis on it, I think i'll definitley be gettig this when it comes out.

Only downside is the strain on your pc, I have a good CPU/mobo/Ram but a not too terrific gfx card and it starts to show if you have more than 2k units but its never unplayable, and less than that I can manage ok with graphics turned up quite high.

I want this game SO BADLY but my computer won't run it. I might upgrade just for this game. It looks like it could be my new killer RTS that I spend years of my life in.

The people who made this made Total Annihilation which was quite good. I might try Supreme Commander.

My friend is dying waiting for this game to come out... as for myself I'm indifferent. Not expecting miracles, but if its good I'll prolly spend quite a few hours playing in multi player style.

Hmmm I found a download which is basically the AI from the beta version, so that its not a total pussy and all I can say is wow lol. This is very clever AI and it was fun, there really isn't any one killer weapon on any team provided you play smart.

There is also a torrent of the full released version (it's out in some EU countries)

Ponuh: If you like RTS games you will love this, I'm considering upgrading my pc for it just to keep the graphics on a decent setting
