Nights was an extremely unique game at its time. It just never did what sega wanted it to do which was change the playing field with ps1

NiGHTS into dreams was one of my favorite games of all time. If i still had my saturn i'd sooooo blaze up with that game.

Night was a game i never thought about to, then i bought it with the Saturn i got from a kid at school, and it really was an interesting game, i think it was also one of, if not the first game to use the console clock to changes things, and i mean like near christmas there was snow in the game, and nights wore red and white, and one Dec 24th if you played it santa would fly by in the background, thats the only holiday i ever saw in the game, but it was new at the time.

I rented NiGHTSback when my brother had a Saturn and it was pretty great at the time. Very trippy game and revolutionary for its time. It had its own controller and was the first 2 analog stick controller IIRC. NiGHTS came out right before the launch of N64 and before dual shock. This gets me more interested in a Wii, and then you have Paper Mario coming out soon as well.

Paper Mario looks fucking amazing. I haven't really played my Wii since I finished Zelda. That will bring me back soon!

If i remember right nintendo stated they were not going to try and compete with sony and microsoft on graphics with the wi, they went with a whole new way to play, so thats probably why it looks like GC graphics

I hardly would listen to anyone complaining about omg wii doesn't have HD graphics. Considering most of the people who do say that. Have a std def tv lol.
Also say that after playing the remakes of resident evil 1 and resident evil 0 and then come back and make that complaint. One of the things that really pissed me off about gc was that it was never never absolutely maxed out. None of the games on that system really pushed it. The Gc literally almost had as much power as the original Xbox.

so... why make a new system that will be "better" graphically and use a new controller, when you could maximize the the graphics you already have and implement the new controller?

It didn't suck lol. It just catered to a different group. Try playing it. Yes even I'll say it didn't have enough games to keep me appealed all the time. But it did have some good games, that overall did make it worthwhile.

To say Wii sucks because it just doesn't have HD graphics is a lame excuse lol.

one, i never said wii sucks (even though this is a fact), i just mentioned how the graphics were dated. i did say the GC sucked, which was why it was number 3 almost the entire time it was on store shelves. "it just catered to a different group" lol please, if this was the case, they might as well be selling elmo dolls, or lollipops with their games

Xbox only sold about 3.4 Million units than gamecube, I think this whole Gamecube was a failure idea is a completely incorrect one. Microsoft lost money on every xbox for a very long time while nintendo broke even at first
then started making profits on hardware sales early on.
btw nintendo makes like 40 bucks on every wii sold lol, they know how make money i guess
