This week, a verdict was delivered forSuper Mario Galaxy in the latest issue of Famitsu, as the game scored 38/40.

Famitsu editors are touting SMG as the game anyone can play.

"The game takes place in a 3D space where you could be walking on the ground or upside down. Normally that would look like it is difficult to control, but you can play this instinctively. The balance is just perfect and it is a game anyone can really play."
"Gimmicks and actions using the game's unique gravity, and fun boss fights definitely delivers on the Mario name. It is even just fun to watch if you are not playing."

"The game's pacing is very good, you get hooked more and more. I am glad that the game is not too easy or too difficult. Collecting the star piece by pointing the Wiimote is already fun in itself."

"The excitement of Mario 64 is back! Lots of features that are perfect for the Wii, and you get addicted wanting to know what kind of obstacles await you in the next stage. Difficulty gradually increases and the map layout is great. Every game fan should play this game."

Be sure to mark your calendar; Super Mario Galaxy hits North America on November 12. Importers can check out the game 11 days earlier, as Japan receives the game on November

It's pretty sweet we get the game around the same time as Japan. Super Mario 64 was one of the greatest video games ever. It totally owned Mario Sunshine. Reguardless I'm excited for this game!

Speaking of Japanese Mario games...when I was a spoiled kid, my Mom rented me a Super Famicom and Super Mario World from a local store called "Gamers" than imported. I got to beat it almost a year before SNES even came out in USA. That was a bigger deal back then haha.

Sunshine looked and played amazingly but i felt some of it was rather hard, like the mission my roomate is stuck on where you have to roll the giant fruit to the juice bar on the beach and them stupid things always break it.

I also found Sunshine was rather challenging when I played it. I was in college with buddies and we were trying to get everything in the game and we kept saying to each other "No way a little kid, which the game was marketed to, could accomplish some of this shit."

Sunshine and I love Mario Sunshine. I found it pretty challenging, but never did I think it was too hard. I liked it as much as I did Mario 64. I dont understand why some people hate this game.
