This npc just said knights can use Defend to protect weakened allies, so I think it's just a cover maneuver for critical allies. Kinda crappy but eh, cover is cover.

Yeah, cover on FFv only goes for weakened allies.

Red mage + bow = sexy, you should try it sometime.

I gave my blm a bow for a while but now he's dual weilding staves and scoring 10-hit combos haha.

Take your boat north to a little island with 2 mountain caves, the dwarves are in the south cave.

LALI-HO!

So

I finished the Goldor episode and decided to have a look around this world since I got my airship back. I found a field in the north that was lined by some statues, this lay between mountain walls like a path or tunnel. However, my airship could not fly through this ravine, it was blocked by some kind of force field. So I found a nearby shore, landed my ship and disembarked to walk over to the statue guarded path. As I came near to the first pair of statues I got a sound effect and they disappeared, same thing on the second pair. As I came to the third pair I was brought to a screen where I was shown my lead character falling to the ground and I thought I was in for a cutscene. As my character lay unconscious the top screen of my DS displayed "The party has met an untimely end"

I was then forwarded to the title screen...

because I just fucking died, walking on the goddamn world map.

I hate you both.

My top DS screen cracked somehow and I don't want to play because of the random tidbits that pop up on the top screen.

How did you break your ds, or is the battery just dead? I remember when gameboy advance came out game informer did durability tests on it lol. They whacked it with a hammer, threw it at a fire hydrant, had a fat guy jump on it, and flushed it down a toilet and the friggin thing still worked. DS seems a touch more flimsy (anything that folds really) but still sturdy enough(nice weight), especially if you're playing the full-size one.

FF3 dungeons are eroding my brain. I haven't yelled at a videogame since I was 4 or 5. This is just fucking ridiculous. lol

his top screen is destroyed. its one of the older DS, and I'm suprised they last so long. i had 2 different ones within a year and i'm so clumsy yet they never gave out on me.

i hear ds lites crack on the left hinge when opened too far.
