honestly, i think the only character suited for SSB is probably a moogle.

but i think for a fighting game.. they should make a FF fighting game like.. marvel vs capcom 2.. that would be sooo bad ass. like, take every char into a 2D fighting system..

whats so good about super smash bros? i played the n64 one once at a 10 year old neighbors house and didnt like it at the time

zidane from FF9 i think would be a great fit,
also Vivi from ff9

these guys fit a good nintendo style and would be fun

more realistic characters i would choose would be

cloud, squall, auron, tifa, and balthier from ff12
