What makes the 360 so good is the content imo, like the ability to download entire movies, trailers, game demo's, and oldschool games and upcoming releases. It's almost mind blowing, like i was on live and seen a plug for ace combat for 360, then dowloaded a castlevania game and omg if you have a cable connection or better it takes less than 2min to download entire movies lol. After getting cable i'll never go back to loldsl it used to take me all day to download a movie or high memory game download, so it wasn't feasible or i would start the download before work and when i got home after 8 hours it would be done. But now downloading is only a few min away and i must be the only comcast person or one of the few in my area using the net because it's awsome lol.

It just started lol. How can you call it a joke lol. It already has more potenial than xbox live lol. live only picked up after xbox 360 came out. It utterly failed in the original even with halo 1 and 2. Live on 360 worked because it came live ready. Force people to buy accessories right away for an extra service and you'll see a lower adoption rate.

I will say this, If ff does come out on 360. I'm pretty much done with ps3 then. Because even though i adore metal gear, i find it hard pressed to spend 700$ plus tax to play one game...

Potential is nothing until it is realized. Right now PS3 online is a fucking joke. They don't even have voice chat in AC4 and they released demos almost a month after they are available on XboxLive. Movie downloads? TV shows? Added content? Events? Right now you can fold proteins at home and play Flow or whatever. They JUST added the ability to download shit while you are playing a game lol. They are boned when MS comes out with IPTV like they had at CES.

The only things working against 360 is hard drive size (overcome with external media storage), and the TV industry whoring HDMI (Dual Layer DVI is what was hooked up to the 2160p TV at CES, HDMI can't carry that resolution). A rumored upgraded 360 would be weird and might alienate some early adopters. MS should give 360 owners a voucher to discount a newer model, but I know they will not.

The Rainbow Six series, Ghost Recon, PSO, Halo 2 and many other games were whored big time by my friend Matt on the original Xbox Live. It worked pretty damn well back then. The guy has played so much Rainbow on the original live its retarded. They had voice chat in all the games back then too, why can't Sony do that now?

The new xbox was already announced. HDMI output, HDMI cables included (which is a big blow to Sony), 120 gb hard drive, and all black. Retailing in america for $479.99 and is supposedly going to be limited in stock. It's called the Elite, lol. Rumored to be in stores Late April.

PS3 technically does have voice chat, you just need to own a bluetooth headset lol. I find it retarded that they still havent just made a PS3 headset that had bluetooth and sold them in game stores.
