I see Yarr has been playing Spiderman 3.

lol its funny, I didnt see that post until now and Ive finished the game.
Honestly I think people are being babies about this. I really enjoyed Spider-man 3, but I never played 1 or 2. I did play the Ultimate Spider-man and I thought that was REALLY good, mostly because the game used the same Bagley style of art from the comics.
I did hate that they had a lot of button pressing cut scenes. Im hardcore SNES and I just got an Xbox 360 so when it was like "PRESS Y" I would instinctivly press the wront button. It was so god damn frustrating you have no idea. I actually had to call sunsine in so many times to get her to do the bombs for me. She wasnt cursed with the memory of the SNES layout lol. I was able to do the button propelled cut scenes later on in the game, but it took a long time to get use to the messed up button lay out.
Over all I thought the game was pretty awesome just for the fun of swinging around the city. It looked amazing.
Oh and the combat was a bomb, the combos were impossible to pull off. There was no real timing to the button pressing. It was like "XYXYYX" to do a combo. You had to time it with the animation i think. I could have been doing it all wrong, but who knows.
Oh and the game was way to easy, but made frustratingly hard by stupid game machanics. Like fighting Kraven would take forever just because he had lots of life and he would block everything except a specific combo that did very little damage, or if you timed it just right you could do a special combo, but it was almost impossible since the timing and rythem of the combos were wacked.
I did actually enjoy seeing how the game creators would have wrote in the different characters. They did a pretty good job of giving them a horrible back story and stupid look that matched the movie universe perfectly lol.
I wish I had waited for this game to drop down to like 20-30 bucks. Its very much worth 20-30 bucks.
Id give it a 7/10
