I got a 360 on launch and mine has never given me any trouble what so ever. Must be lucky.

I played the demo. And. Holy. Fucking. Shit. I'm not a FPS gamer. But Biosock is amazing. This game makes it worthwhile that I jacked my 360. Now I need to buy it. Dang!

Yeah this isn't a typical shooter at all. It's soooo fun. The gameplay is awesome, I dig the story, and the graphics are a little better than Gears of War IMO. Great game all around!

I'm afraid to play... My xbox froze twice during the first 2 minutes of me playing. I really hope BioShock doesn't kill it ;_;

My 360 normally gets hot but nothing happens. I usually have the HD DVD drive stacked on it which probably doesn't help, but otherwise it's well ventilated in the front and back.

I have 2 little fans in my bedroom (not ceiling), and I moved one behind my TV so it blows on the back of my 360. I also moved my HD DVD drive away from the 360. I played Bioshock for about 6 hours last night, and the 360 wasn't warm at all after. I'm leaving the fan there haha.

where are you guys at so far? I haven't been able to play much, however,

*spoiler (sort of) ahoy*
I'm in fort frolic and just unlocked poseidon plaza. I'm having loads of fun with the game so far. My upgrades have consisted of 2 or 3 medical and eve upgrades, 5 plasmid slots, and then I think I have 3-4 slots open in all of the abilities. I haven't focused too much on obtaining new plasmids, the ones I've mostly stuck with are: elcetrobolt, incinerate, telekenesis, hypnotize big daddy, and security bullseye.

I fail at remembering the names of zones, but I just finished creating and placing the bomb in the core of Ryan's zone. I entered his office and saved before I went to bed last night. The next thing is supposedly a fight with him. He's been talking mad shit over the radio building up to that point lol. I really wanna fight him.

I have all my plasmid slots open. I only use thunderbolt 2 and freeze regularly. I absolutely love shocking things and hacking them. I've gotten pretty good at hacking (of course the upgrades help). My favorite weapons are the shotgun and the wrench lol. I like close up combat in the game...it's very satisfying to whack a splicer over the head with a wrench or run up and blast them with a shotgun. I still try to pistol whip with guns like in gears of war haha...which of course doesn't happen :( I used the crossbow 1 time lol. I haven't used the flamethrower much. I use the grenade launcher for big daddys and the machine gun for long distance shooting. The pistol is something I use when bored or low on other ammo.
I plan on finishing the game this week, and playing through it again this weekend. Blue Dragon comes out next week!! I'm so excited!!

Not if you have a 1.6 GHZ Pentium 4 with an AGP 4x motherboard, crappy video card, and 512 mb of ram on a 600x400 CRT monitor made in 1998...like me.

If I tried to install Bioshock on my computer it would start laughing, then punch me in the face.

damn klu wtf how long have you been playing? I must've logged in upwards of 10 hours or so and I'm not even halfway done, although I'm playing on medium difficulty and really scouring each board so that there's no rooms/safes left unturned. I also love to hack the shit out of my machines and I don't believe in the regeneration crap, I save frequently and will just re-load my last save if I die (unless too much time has lasped/I forgot to save)

I've been playing from the time I get home from work and the gym, till I go to sleep...like 6pm-12am Tuesday and Wednesday. I normally go to sleep before 10. It's hard to stop playing though! My eyes are bloodshot as fuck today. A couple co-workers pointed it out.

I'm kinda rushing through it now. I'll explore more the second time through. I know I missed several weapon powerups and such.

I'm a saveaholic also lol.

WOW. This game is a masterpiece. I cannot believe how amazingly good it is.
