So I played this last night for about 6 hours or so with 2 friends, it's alot of fun. At least playing with other people it is. I only played the drums since I played the drums from 1990-2000ish, it's a whole lota' fun. My only problem with the game is the sensitivity, one notes where I have to hit two drums at the same time and do, sometimes I miss one of the two notes. I hit the pad, I hit it firm enough where it should register but for some reason doesn't. It's not my timing being off, or otherwise the other note would've been off as well. It always breaks my combo ; ;

Anyone else have instrument problems? My guitar quick working, so we had to use two GH3 ones. I got the express shipping for a new one, so hopefully it works better.

My friend picked up rock band and we started a couple of 'bands' with our friends. I tried out vocals, but felt more comfortable with guitar. I can get like 96% on black hole sun on vocals, but other higher pitched stuff is impossible for me, haha My range is really bad. It really is a lot of fun if you've got four people to play the game with.

Thunderstomp picked a PS3 one up at Best Buy, and the drums didn't work right. Buttons and drum pads were non-responsive in most cases. Also the guitar green button would stick if pressed in. So he returned it. He said tons of Rock Band XBOX360 version at Buckhead Best Buy in ATL.

At least my Amazon.com order is still on schedule for a Dec 17-21 arrival in time for my New Year's Party.

I was at Wal-Mart last night at like 3am and some employees were setting up the rock band "stage".

As soon as they got it going, me and my friends hopped on it.

Initial Reaction:

This guitars buttons feel funny. Strum bar feels REALLY weird and dosn't always work correctly.

The drums are too sensitive.

The mic...is sorta...non responsive at times.

These very well could've been damaged items, or possible not set up correctly by the employees, but after some goofing around on it, we manged to start playing through the songs and getting used to the instruments.

I thought I'd enjoy guitar the most, having just come from GuitarFreaks and Guitar Hero 1-3.

But actually, the drums are REALLY fun. I was having the most fun drumming.

I'm definitely picking this up for myself for xmas.

i much prefer the guitar hero 3 ps3 les paul guitar over the rock band guitar. it just has better buttons, strum bar, and reaction time. hands down.

apparently they were coming out with a patch to make it possible, but the makers of guitar hero are suing the makers of rock band to make sure their guitars are never compatible (ps3 only). no idea why they'd care.
