id actually be down to play it. if they made your character abilities along a pathline it would be worth it. like in certain games you can focus your char on diff stats. can easily make it a skill based game with a fun twist, plus pokemon concept has so many diff types of characters and elemental types it would fit pretty well. aside from the 12 year olds playing i think it would work... especially if it was like pokemon meets eq1

instead of focusing on gear youd use things to enhance your powers like a sorta city of heros interface where you add on enhancements to your skills

Come now, everyone putting on the anti-pokemon fronts; the originals, as well as the later generations are still quality games that are some of the best RPGs on a handheld.
