Last GBA game? As usual, Gamestop staff have no idea what they're talking about. lol There's a number of games coming out for it in the next few months. Mostly movie games though. Like Spider-Man 3, Ghost Rider, and TMNT.

I wonder if Nintendo offers a warranty like Sony does. I have 2 different friends whose PSPs had problems, and Sony sent them boxes with return postage paid, then sent them new PSPs. I got my DS from Costco in September I think. Can't find the reciept :(

Yeah Nintendo has the same policy. I got a black DS for christmas with 4 dead pixels on the top screen. It annoyed the hell out of me when playing FFIII when 90% of the time the top screen should be black. But instead had black and then 4 red and green dots. Called the lady @ Nintendo and they said it would take one week for me to get box, another week to send it back, and then they will take another new DS that was checked for pixels and send it back. I ended up being too impatient and just found a DS at Brandsmart (of all places).

Theyre still sold out at like all the gamestops haha.

woot, I found a gamestop that had one copy of FFVI Advance and I snagged it. Man, I am excited. This is the best fucking game ever.

btw Rainbow Six: Vegas is pretty awesome. Took me a while to get it working for PC though. Seems a little buggy, but the newest patch fixed most of the issues. It sucks it doesn't support anti-aliasing, but I guess most game companies aren't giving much love to PC users nowadays, with all the next-gen consoles out. I had to download a hack to play the game in widescreen mode. Wish there was an anti-aliasing hack, but I couldn't find one.

now...on to FFVI!

I picked up FFVI today at BestBuy for five bucks cheaper than GS. While both companies suck, I'll go with one that's less expensive. Fuck my reserve, I'll get my money back. Haha. Leaves me with more to trade in at Game Crazy for Sonic and the Secret Rings (pleasebegoodpleasebegoodpleasebegoodpleasebegood) and Crackdown for 360. Freakin' sucks ass that VF5 is not coming out til August or whatever for the 360.

I couldn't find FFVI so I ordered from Amazon. I shouldn't have chosen the stupid free shipping. I will probably see it in stores here several times before I get it :( I'm having mad anxiety over this game lol.

whenever I go to Best Buy to buy a game, they always have every game except the one I want. It never fails.

I hear you. I was buying my little sister's birthday gift and I happened to see it while I was there, I wouldn't have known if I wasn't already there. Only thing I can comment is that I'm disappointed with the music. But it's really hard to fit a game like FFVI on a cart for GBA with sound intake when it utilized the full capacity of the SNES sound chip. Which was amazing for its time.

Yeah, snes music did sound better. It's probably because the snes game's audio was optimized for decent TV speakers. while the GBA music is optimized for the shitty little handheld speakers.

My brother randomly got me these hugeass stereo headphones I've been playing my DS with so I really can't complain about the music so far. I haven't compared this to a proper DS game with the headphones though.

The sound is actually different. It's been changed to fit on the GBA. Wait til you get to the famous opera scene. lol

:( I loved the SNES sound on that scene. I used to get goosebumps when I heard that music/song lol (Oh My Hero song). I agree FF3/VI was the best audio I've heard on SNES. Hell it's "crystal theme" is still my favorite of all the Final Fantasys.

Crystal theme has got to be the most ridiculously simple but greatest videogame song ever. It can do no wrong.
