Whatever. I'm very happy with PS3. It's a bluray dvd player, it's got tons of great games and a bright future with many more great games ahead, it's a reliable technology that won't overheat and won't RROD/RROF, it costs LESS in the long run because you dont have to add the HD DVD and you dont have to pay for network. I've posted my reasons for liking PS3. On a forum, reasons = SUBSTANCE.

Just for the record, and for clarification, I don't give a shit about consumer electronics wars. I was bashing Whisp (and for that matter, everyone in this thread including Mikey) for acting like thirteen year old gamefaqs constituents by arguing about consumer electronics.

Allegiance to a nation? Sure. Allegiance to a sports team? Sure, I can understand that too. Allegiance to a consumer electronics brand? Grow the fuck up.

Some of us just don't like giving bill gates more money than he needs, sure Xbox has some neat looking games, but its not enough for me to dish out for a console that was shipped with faulty cheap hardware.

Sony and nintendo were in the game before microsoft, and even if sony came from nintendo dropping a CD system for the SNES, they know what they are doing, microsoft should stick to PC imo.

People buy consoles because they can't afford a top of the line gaming PC. I still don't see a single reason for me to buy a PS3. MAYBE FF13 will be that reason.

Who cares if someone thinks xbox360 sucks? If you resort to personal attacks because someone insulted your gaming system, you need to reassess your mental threshhold.

I think by this time next year, the debate will be pretty much decided. Playstation has always been like this, releasing their systems too early, but then a year or two after release a ton of great games come out. Hell, the fact that PS3 has a bluray player already beats xbox360 in my mind. Halo 3 is fun, and I've heard good things about Mass Effect, but the PS3 lineup for next year looks much more intriguing. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Anyway, I go with what's fun. I recently got a DS Lite, I love the thing. Phoneix Wright is so much fun ... I just finished the first one, and plan to get the other two after holidays are over. Gonna work on Hotel Dusk now and Elite Beat agents over break.

I think I might get a Wii actually. I can play games with my girlfriend that won't drive her nuts with a steeper learning curve a la most 360 games, and the backwards compatibility is an added bonus. Although Brawl will probably seal the deal for me. I don't really consider the PS3 to be a viable system right now, it's going to take a while to mature.

if you look at the thread i only mentioned that no xbox360 games interest me except halo3, i didnt say they suck, except dead or alive which has always sucked and is way overrated especially compared to tekken. you outright say ps3 exclusive titles suck but are unable to remember which ps3 exclusive titles you have purchased for your ps3.

each have thier own set of games which suck fucking huge ass.. 360 has halo3, which imo is the most terrible generic fps i've ever played in my life.. wtf are the real upgrades from 2 to 3? a gravity rod wtf way to waste that huge budget.. even the humanoid models were terrible, bungie needs to fire their art team immediatly. it seemed like halo1 had better graphics.

i've had fun with every other 360 game though

i dont own a ps3, dont really want to get one til MGS comes out. but im sure it has its terrible games too.. so debating about which system is better or worse is just really retarded..

dont get me wrong, i camped out for the ps3 and love the system to death, but right now i can count all the current must have games on my right hand. ya, it sucks that i am sitting here waiting until january or february until the next good game. All the games on that list hopefully will not be like assassin's creed, because PS3 NEEDS a solid release to help sell some units. And unless Blu-Ray happens to gain some ground (like getting the Warner rumor) i find it hard for the ps3 to keep fighting and winning.
