Wow that Zelda trailer is great. I can't believe so many good games are coming out so soon. We have waited too fucking long for Twilight Princess. I've been excited for it's release date, and let down too many times.

Supposedly, the December release date is the only actually date that Nintendo has ever given. The rest were estimates made by analysts when Nintendo threw out general possible release dates. But I don't know how accurate that statement is. All I know is that it feels like forever.

Like I said, I don't know. I can't recall any specific dates other than what was posted previously on Gamestop/EB websites.

Nintendo set a date themselves but originally moved it back for quality control reasons and to add more content. Then they moved it back to be a wii launch title.

The more I see of the Wii the more I think Nintendo could have just released the Wii remote and controller for the GC and really avoided releasing another system. All reports are that the Wii has actually weaker visuals than the original Xbox even, and that is sad indeed. Seems they are milking us with Zelda being released sooner on the new console as a ploy to make us buy it. They could have easily made this controller work for the Gamecube.

IGN also said there were hardware issues with the numchuck extension of the Wii-remote in their reviews. Seems to have problems in every game not just in one game. They noted this in the Call of Duty 3 review. Its fucked up but the PS3 controller does basically the same thing as the Wii from what I read. Unless Nintendo puts out some godly first party games, then they are in danger of going the way of Sega. I might be going out on a limb, but this could be Nintendo's Dreamcast.

That being said there are basically no PS3s being delivered in stores and I know several people buying a Xbox360 just for Gears of War. The whole addition of the HD-DVD drive to 360 looked lame because it was an addon, but now its a cheap HD-DVD external drive for PCs. It is USB so with released hacked software people can now play HD-DVDs on their PCs for cheap along with use w/ Xbox360. I am sure Sony will counter MS's on-demand downloadable movies and video as well in some way with their larger hard drive.

Yeah but I am getting sick of buying a Nintendo console just for Zelda. Especially one with a marginal upgrade in graphics and a new controller that is buggy in the numchuck department. It seems funny all the games have been reviewed pre-release but Zelda. We all believe it will be a fantastic game. There were awesome games made for Dreamcast too. I will still buy a damn Wii though lol.. fucking Super Smash Brothers and Mario will see to that along with Zelda. Bastards could have released those games and the new controller on Gamecube though.

Yeah but sadly not as many people would buy them for the migty cube simply because the other companies have a shiny new $600 box to shove cds into. GAME PLAYERS would, such as you and me and whoever, because solid games are solid games. I don't give a fuck if a system has a dvd player, instant online access out of the box, or w/e especially if it just makes it grotesquely expensive, at this point the only system I want and the only one I could afford is the wii and until I get it I will sit here happy with my ps2, my cube, my snes, and my DS. lol

Just now at gamestop they had a wii for play on display but I just wanted to skidaddle and play ff3 ds.

AFTER THOROUGHLY REVIEWING AN IGN ARTICLE I AM GOING TO SAFELY MAKE THE PREDICTION THAT NINTENDO IS DOOMED

Dont read any reviews or anything on IGN from Matt. The guys a total retard. He writes anything to avoid looking like a "fanboy" for some stupid reason.

Go check out his reviews on the DS and how he felt it was a half working gimicky hand held that would lead to the end of Nintendo.


I dont trust IGN. I trust the normal people who post their hands on reviews from E3 and in store kiosks
