Those games look fucking rad. Blue Dragon has me excited now I loved Chrono Trigger and Chrono Chross...and of course I love Final Fantasy games. The premis sounds awesome and Nobuo Uematsu music will be a nice treat. Yay for 360

Lost Odyssey is the game I've been waiting on, rpg wise, for 360. Blue Dragon looks good too but I've been more interested in playing Lost Odyssey.

No one liked PvP in FFXI because it sucked. There was no job balance at all, Monks, lolBlms, and Redmage owned all.

Unbalanced PvP would never be fun, but playing a way more balanced game like WoW (but not completely) and it makes for a really enjoying experience.

Its like fucking Roseanne and saying that you dont find women very attractive, now if you had a go with Carmen Electra you'd be whistling to diff. tune.

That, and you actually have incentives to play. Imagine if Ballista dropped the God set for scoring 1000 petra, people would be all over it. Thats just another bonus to PvP in wow.

Oh yeah and Blue Dragon looks rly good, i was a little concerned about how the game was going to look when i heard the Dragon Ball artists were going to make the game, but it still looks nice.

The dragon ball artists also did Chrono Trigger which is easily the best RPG of all time.

just remember just because he drew the characters doesn't mean he had anything to do with the actual story lines lol. He just creates the characters out of the descriptions that the writers describe.

i have tried playing chrono trigger 4 times, each time i get halfway through and realize the game just isn't all that good

chrono trigger = overrated

it's pretty good, but probably not even the best rpg to come out that year.

ponuh alot of times the characters designers create these characters often by the descriptions of the people who've created the storyboards and scripts. They basically all work together.

It would be retarded if companies would just create stories and games out of "character designer" sketches. Its really more like the story board makers or script writers work together with the character designer, often times they create original sketches on how they think they should look like, and then the designer goes and creates a more formal finalized design of the character.
Akira toriyama or whatever his name is doesn't really ever have much of a say when it comes to story, i would say maybe on some design aspects of the game, but thats pretty much it.

I used to get destroyed as blm. Everybody just gangs up and with the sleep gimp and overall magic power gimp in ballista it was just pointless, however, it was fun to go pld/rdm and be nigh unkillable. Hell even pld/war was beastly.

In uncap BLMs sucked because everyone has their final weaponskills and are able to WS-oneshot them. BLMs really owned in 60 cap though.
