I know there are multiple Wii threads including the sticky. But I don't care lol.

So I went to Gamestop and saw they had a Wii demo setup. The Wii system was in a plastic case under a 32" widescreen HDTV. There was a piece of paper taped to the plastic with a picture of the remote, and a brief explaination of how it's used. There was an XBOX360 demo next to it, which a guy and his bitchy looking girlfriend were playing. I saw the Wii was on a paused screen saying to press a button to continue. I freaked out and ran to the desk. I had to give the employee my drivers license to borrow the controller. They only had the Wiimote part not the nunchuck.

I walked back to the Wii very excited but that guy and his girlfriend (from the XBOX demo) were standing in front of it, reading about it. His girlfriend was talking mad shit "Why does Nintendo even try. Nothing they make will be as good as XBOX360. That controller is stupid...blahblahblah". I wanted to smack that bitch in the back of the head with the Wiimote...but I didn't. I cleared my throat kinda loud to get their attention. They looked back at me and got out of the way.

The game was a demo of an offroad racing game. You hold the remote horizontally counterclockwise so the trigger is by your left index finger. I was skeptical about the gameplay holding the remote like that. It was fucking awesome! It controlled just like using a steering wheel for a racing game at an arcade. It's very accurate and responds quick. I was blown away by how much fun it was. I think the people who bitch about having to move their fat lazy wrists up and down, need to shut the fuck up and try it. I only played for about 10 minutes, but I really believe the reviews about the controller not being a gimmick. I am very impressed and cannot wait to buy a Wii! I also can't wait to try Zelda!

Im stuck with Excite Truck and Rayman because of my preorder. Thanks for the positive words about Wii, ive been a little nervious that this is going to be too gimicky.

I cant wait to pick up my Wii. Ive got to get another remote, Zelda, Monkey Ball, Component Cables and I should be set with that.

i went by gamestop today and they hadnt got in the fucking remote and disc. they did have one extra copy of red steel though that orca bought and he picked up trauma center. me and three friends are camping wal mart saturday for wiis then playing all night its gonna be hella hella sick sick.

When I went to get FF3 DS the gamestop had Wii+Excite truck set up, I ran into an old friend(LOL FRIENDS) who was playing it and when he gave the controller back to the chick behind the counter another dude asked to play and she gave him this hilarious speech about how she'd have to basically cut his balls off if he removed the wristband. I did not get to play but my friend said the control was kinda sensitive and took a little getting used to but once he got rolling he didn't want to stop. He also played zelda at some other point in time and mentioned how fun the bow shooting is, which is great because when I heard you have to pull back the nunchuck like a bow string I was very excited lol. He confirms the thwip and twang sounds rock too haha.
