I was going to post this as well. I can't be opposed to this because Unreal 3 can produce some jaw dropping visuals. |

yea , although ff 13 will be using the white engine, others that follow will be using the unreal 3 engine. Lets just pray they don't have everything so god damn dark |

Yeah i absolutly agree. I think its a better approch for SE to take. Creating your own game engine is not only expensive, its time consuming. So using an awesome exsisting engine should allow SE to spend more time on gameplay and story. It would be pretty awesome if they had just licenced this engine to update older FFXI games like FFVI, FFVII or FFIX |

I would honestly be more excited about that than any new title. I wonder how difficult, time consuming, and expensive it would be to do complete graphics overhauls on those games. I bet FFVII would sell as many copies as FFXIII did. PS1 FFVII is going for decent $$ on Ebay. FFVI would make me wet myself. |

I am thinking this was licensed for the the next SE MMO lol. The rumored PS3, Xbox360 and PC MMO SE is making could use Unreal Engine 3. That might be hot shit. |
