I was debating posting this in Thunderstomp's thread originally, but since it was really meant for the gap between October to the start of January, I figured it was best to just start anew.

It's kinda shocking that I'm going to be picking up the most 360 games this year, at least to me. Since last year it was pretty doubtful I was even going to pick up the machine. And there's a couple maybes that I didn't throw up there like Bullet Witch. Crackdown looked really lame at first glance when I saw screens and info about it. But after seeing gameplay videos and hearing people talk about it, it looks suitably entertaining. I could care less about the Halo 3 beta that comes with it. So if I happen to get a box with the code in it, I'd probably give it to someone on the forums if they cared for it.

I'm excited most for Virtua Fighter 5 and Alan Wake. And Sonic and the Secret Rings, sorta... since if the game is shit I'll pretty much stop ever hoping that a Sonic game will ever be good. But from screens and gameplay impressions that I've read, it seems to be garnering some positive responses. So. Here's to hope.

And there's also a few games here that I'm skeptical that'll end up being released in 2007, like Dragon Quest IX and Lost Odyssey.

Best fighting series of all time imo. This game never got the respect it deserves. VF2 was like the leetest game ever. I spent so many hours and mashing so many controllers with that on Sega Saturn.

My interests in games has seriously wained. I"ve spent so much money on so many games over the years. I'll probably end up selling them sometime by the middle of this year. Probably do like an ebay thing lol. And sell them all at once.
Probably get like 5 or 6 k with all the systems and games i have haha.

If i did have a choice. I'd probably get Metal gear solid 4, if i had a choice. But quite frankly I do not.

There are so many games I want to play that I am seriously considering getting a GameFly subscription just to rent them all. Just looking at my Gamerscore for achievments makes me want to play more lol.

360: Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, Crackdown, Virtua Fighter 5, Assasin's Creed, and Age of Conan... for XLA: SotN

DS: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, DQIX

PS2: God of War II, Rogue Galaxy

I will probably buy a fucking PS3 and Wii eventually and get games for those. Mario Galaxy for Wii and FF13 if it ever comes out (probably late 2008 or 2009 lol) for PS3 will influence me to buy those systems.

PC: Unreal Tournament 3, Oblivion: The Shivering Isles, WoW: Burning Crusade, Vanguard (maybe), Crysis (if I get Vista), Neverwinter Nights 2... just need to buy a new video card or steal Aalan's GeForce 8800 GTX for Crysis haha.

I didn't even know about FFVI holy shit. That is my favorite FF, and the RPG I've played more times than every other game I've played. I am going to start looking into that. That is on the top of my list. I may call in to work that day lol.

For Wii I must agree with Fire Emblem and Mario Galaxy. Mario Galaxy looks like so much damn fun, and I believe it's graphics will be the best so far for Wii. I will definately buy component cables for my Wii before then.

I may buy a PS3 just for Gran Turismo 5 (lol4). I am looking forward to that game. I was a fan of that series from the start.

Ponuh mentiobned Blue Dragon for 360, and that caught my interest. I've been looking into it and I am very interested so far. It looks like something I will fall in love with. I then looked at Lost Odyssey and I feel similar about that.

Those are my games for the year so far. I wish FFXIII would come out this year...

Gahhhh Aalan and Hobako each both bought a Wii today. Aalan offered to buy me one and let me pay him back later. I declined as I have more than enough games to play at the moment lol. I am sure I will get another opportunity to buy one eventually. Probably around when Mario Galaxy releases. I have Zelda:TTP for GC already.

ya, GT5 comes out next year, but that game is going to look amazing no doubt. metal gear solid 4 is what i really want.

until then, i hope my legal copy of Oblivion will run really well on the ps3 and its just not a crappy port. it also comes w/ knights of the nine, which should be interesting. oh, and wheel of fortune will make me wet my sheets if it has tilt control.

Knights of the Nine is already available for the 360 version lol.. and it came with the demo disk for the recent OXM. I wouldn't touch Oblivion with a 10 foot pole for a console anyways, with all the mods and shit available for the PC version. Aalan has 2 different total conversions for Oblivion that are quite awesome as well as the addons already available.

GT4 was a steaming pile of shit. Forza Motorsports was 2 times the game that GT3 and 4 were. Really that whole feature where you don't even drive the races but watch your 1000 HP Skyline lap everyone makes the game a fucking joke. I know you can't do that in every race, but it ruins the game. Not like GT3 wasn't monotonous as well. Racing games have to be more than pretty to interest me.. the GT series got really stale and boring after GT2.

Maybe in MGS4 Snake will finally be able to move while aiming lol. That is the most retarded thing ever. I am sure it will have a cool story and Snake will be as badass as ever. They should make a movie and get it over with. Splinter Cell owns the living shit out of MGS in the gameplay department. MGS2 was crap and MGS3 was a good game but hilariously overrated by fanboys. At least Raiden doesn't seem to be such an annoying fag this time around.

IMO the only thing Sony has going for it is White Knight from Level 5 and FF13. Considering how I feel about FF12 now that I am finished... I hope they go in an entirely different direction with FF13. Killing Bombshell 50+ times for Yagyu Darkblade to drop once is pretty fucking gay. Yazmat wasn't even hard until the last 30 mins.. even then it wasn't too bad. The story was sparse and only a few characters were even given much time to develop.

The only ps3 game I want is MGS4, and honestly all I care about at this point is seeing how the story ends, not incredibly interested in the gameplay.

My first video game I ever played was virtua fighter lol for sega saturn, got me hooked on fighting and pvp in general, wich is probably why im such a pvp junkie now lol. from there I mastered the mortal combats, street fighters, Blood roars (( my personal favorite and I am undefeated in this series )), and dead or alive 4 is a good game too

Buuttt Im most looking forward to MONSTER FARM ONLINE coming this year!! Its out in japan already, and Im DYING to get my hands on it. Its not as good as a pokemon mmo, but it will do just fine. I was obsessed with monster rancher 1-3 lol, i really hope this MMO version takes after MR2. AND its for the PC so I dont have to buy any of the new consoles to plaayyyy

Rainbow Six: V E G A S is the S H I T.

Me and my roomie were playing co-op. You can go on story mode or play a different mode called terrorist hunt. You and your friend can pick from like 12-15 different equipment sets (each with a different look/feel/weapon set) Then you can pick a level and how many NPCs are in them. Me and my buddy were doing a hunt in a school library with 50 terrorists patrolling inside. You start on the street directly outside and you can stealth up to the toproof using a rope or sneak in through the back doors. Omg it was so much fun. Most fun i've ever had in a tactical FPS since goldeneye.

That, and you can hear the enemies communicate with eachother. And if you kill one, his partner might yell at you while hes shooting saying "FUCK YOU THAT WAS MY FRIEND!"

Lawl good times, great game. If you have an xbox you should deffinatly try it out.
