7 First Party Titles in 8 Months.

May - Forza 2
June - Shadowrun
July - Mass Effect
August - Blue Dragon
September - Halo 3
October - Grand Theft Auto 4
November - Project Gotham Racing 4
December - Lost Odyssey

I don't see how any gamer can NOT own a 360 for at least 2-3 of these titles. I also don't think I've ever seen such deliberate and calculated staging of releases. Sony seems content to let their titles run right into each other. F1 & Motorstorm, back in the PS2 days, Rachet, Jak, Sly, SOCOM, & ATV were all released within weeks of each other. And some of those aren't close to being at the level of most of these 360 titles in terms of impact.

I really have to tip my hat to Microsoft for this. Combine these with a price drop and you've got the recipe for very potential domination.

Blue Dragon needs to come out today. Seriously that games going to be so awesome.

Right now Microsoft's Xbox 360 is the console to own. Its hands down the best system on the market right now.

I totally agree man. I can't wait for Blue Dragon! Enchanted Arms was a let down...we need a good RPG for 360!

Pix accept my damn friends request on xbox live! It's been pending for several weeks. Then help me beat General Raam on Insane. I died non-stop for literally 1 and a half hours last night. I don't have any trouble with him on the other modes...

If I got a 360 it'd be for FFXI, and then maybe Mass Effect. I haven't heard of or care about those other games.

I have to resubscribe to live, my gold membership expired in january. Will do it soon.

This requires investigation. I used to play the pen and paper shadowrun with my brother and a friend when I was a kid.

Shadowrun is playable on Live and compatible with Windows Vista users (since they can play Shadowrun on Live also I think). Mass Effect is going to be omgz.... Bioware ftw. Forza 2 will easily be the best racing sim availabe when it is released. Halo 3 has a mute button and will be really multiplayer battle tested by September due to the beta. Blue Dragon is supposedly getting a hefty treatment on localization from what I read (damn 3 DVDs lol). Lost Odyssey is being released simulaneously in Japan and US and was a huge project from what I read to get that to happen as it has an insane amount of dialogue. PGR 4 is more arcadey but fun if you like the Kudos system which emphasizes style points (Metropolis Street Racer was the original's name on DC btw). Add in GTA4 which is also like Shadowrun going to have MMO elements as rumored... and you have one game a month I am planning to buy lol. Holy shit hahaha. March 21st SotN download in 1080i widescreen glory for 800 points (10 bucks).
