The Devil May Cry for More Systems

March 19, 2007 - Nothing seems to go Sony's way these days. One of the PlayStation 3's bigger exclusives, Devil May Cry 4, is also coming to Xbox 360 and PC. To pour salt into Sony's wounds, Capcom announced that the 360 version would release simultaneously with the PS3 edition.

"Capcom is committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal," said Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe. "This announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest installment of one of Capcom's pillar franchises."

Having sold more than seven million units on PlayStation 2, the DMC series is ready to tackle the next-generation of consoles. DMC4 introduces a brand new protagonist, Nero, who uses the mysterious "Devil Bringer" arm to unleash "non-stop combos."

It's unknown if Capcom will offer unique content for each platform. However, in a press release issues today, Capcom stated that "each version of the game will be maximized to take advantage of the systems' strengths."

No release date has been set for Devil May Cry 4, though the console version are expected to arrive sometime this year.

Also Take Two is up for sale (Makes of GTA series) and I can almost Gaurantee you MS is looking to buy them.

Pretty much. I'ts going to be a pretty tight race when you compare Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War 1-2, Halo 3, Fable 2, Forza 2, Lost Oddysey, and Blue Dragon. Versus MGS4 and FF (which are both rumored to go to xbox.) God of War 2, and White Knight?

According to an anonymous source, Konami has sold Microsoft its rights to Metal Gear Solid 4, Square Enix has given rights for Microsoft to publish future Final Fantasy products for their systems, and all owners of PlayStation 3 consoles have just lost their souls and have practically bought a Blu-Ray player, which will be soon overtaken by HD-DVD. In a personal quote from the top dawgs at Sony, "HAHAHA I CANTBELIEVE YOU BOUGHT A PS3, SUCKERS!"

It just all seems odd. I think these kids argue because they really want to argue about politics but are too lazy to learn anything about it or something. You don't see this shit with movie studios (Fucking Paramount and their over reliance on superstar films! Why can't they take a shot at more arthouse productions like Fox?!) or with any other type of product but video games.

Theres a big differance between debating movie studios and videogames.

Growing up, most of my friends only owned one system: either Sega's, Nintendo's, or Sony's. You got to choose one for christmahannukwanzika every 3-5 years. My friends and I would often rag on eachother because they couldnt play all the great exlusives and how they wasted all that money. And on the flipside, you always have that person who loves to justify why he loves his console every chance he gets. (ex: me and this thread) It's not like you choose one studio to watch movies from and are bound to it untill said studio dies.

Just because kids argue video game politics doesnt mean they dont have the skills or knowledge to hold their own in debate class. (Although I wouldnt bet on Armitry knowing which hemisphere Baghdad is located.) Not to sound redundant, but this is (mainly) a video game forum; hence all the bickering between games of videos.
