The Devil May Cry for More Systems
DMC 4 confirmed for 360, PC.

March 19, 2007 - Nothing seems to go Sony's way these days. One of the PlayStation 3's bigger exclusives, Devil May Cry 4, is also coming to Xbox 360 and PC. To pour salt into Sony's wounds, Capcom announced that the 360 version would release simultaneously with the PS3 edition.

"Capcom is committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal," said Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe. "This announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest installment of one of Capcom's pillar franchises."

Having sold more than seven million units on PlayStation 2, the DMC series is ready to tackle the next-generation of consoles. DMC4 introduces a brand new protagonist, Nero, who uses the mysterious "Devil Bringer" arm to unleash "non-stop combos."

It's unknown if Capcom will offer unique content for each platform. However, in a press release issues today, Capcom stated that "each version of the game will be maximized to take advantage of the systems' strengths."

No release date has been set for Devil May Cry 4, though the console version are expected to arrive sometime this year.

Also Take Two is up for sale (Makes of GTA series) and I can almost Gaurantee you MS is looking to buy them.

Pretty much. I'ts going to be a pretty tight race when you compare Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War 1-2, Halo 3, Fable 2, Forza 2, Lost Oddysey, and Blue Dragon. Versus MGS4 and FF (which are both rumored to go to xbox.) God of War 2, and White Knight?

According to an anonymous source, Konami has sold Microsoft its rights to Metal Gear Solid 4, Square Enix has given rights for Microsoft to publish future Final Fantasy products for their systems, and all owners of PlayStation 3 consoles have just lost their souls and have practically bought a Blu-Ray player, which will be soon overtaken by HD-DVD. In a personal quote from the top dawgs at Sony, "HAHAHA I CANTBELIEVE YOU BOUGHT A PS3, SUCKERS!"

It just all seems odd. I think these kids argue because they really want to argue about politics but are too lazy to learn anything about it or something. You don't see this shit with movie studios (Fucking Paramount and their over reliance on superstar films! Why can't they take a shot at more arthouse productions like Fox?!) or with any other type of product but video games.

I think thats a pretty nasty blow yea, however.. if you think about it capcom's always had a tendency of making there games multiplatform. And you also need to think about it the other way around. THe once exclusive titles you thought were for 360 only will be coming to ps3, I.e dead rising and others. In all my posts about this stuff you always see i lean towards Sony. Its because i truly believe if we hand over the market to MS, were gonna see nothing but gears of war type games and fps. And a couple of hundred World war 2 shooters. Because the major influence will be a more american point of view. Which I guess if fine if you just wanna point and shoot things till 2010

I always supported sony 100% with PS1 and PS2 but they lost me with this psp/ps3 garbage. I've not got much interest in either system (xbox/ps3) but I think it's very nice that DMC4 is not going to be confined to the PS3. I hope MGS4 also gets to the xbox360 because it'd be a shame for what will be a classic to be stuck rotting on the ps3.

It is launched the same day as the PS3 version asshat. The PC version is the one that comes out later. Just another blow to Sony's ego (they deserve it with their comments). MS throws their money around I bet, get another game from PS3 before the year is over with. If they buy Take Two that would be pretty damn lol. Jack Thompson is the enemy to video games and hates the GTA and Manhunt series. Shareholders are revolting and the company is probably going up for sale, it is for sure either MS or Sony could buy that company. I am sick of this Jack Thompson and his buddy Hillary Clinton.

I've always liked Sony products....and still do for the most part. If anything I planned on buying a PS3 for Blu Ray and FF13. I don't even care about owning both Blu Ray and HD DVD anymore, I'm beyond content with HD DVD (I own 7 discs now). If they do indeed release those games for 360 I'll likely never own a PS3. I mastrubated over PS2 and hated XBOX. Now I'm in love with my 360 with no desire to own a PS3. TEH WURLD IS ENDING!

I think we need to disconnect hardware with the companies. We've given these companies personas and reasonings that aren't actually there. Microsoft surely doesn't have a policy in hardware development, nor does Sony or Nintendo. So to decide that Sony is in love with your money (I guess it used to be microsoft), that microsoft just wants to force developers to design first person shooters and that nintendo's only goal is the kid's market doesn't really make sense.

They all want your fucking money haha. Tomorrow is SotN for XLA. The more exclusive titles that come to 360 and lose their exclusivity, the more that hurts the PS3. It helps the consumer because it gives them more choices. I doubt we will see a huge domino effect taking place as far as exclusive PS3 titles suddently appearing on 360 en masse.

No, in reality there's no goddamn reason to have "console wars" anymore so than any other kind of entertainment. Somehow people have got the illusion that these companies a) have different identities and practices b) have specific strategies for capturing certain demographics outside of just licensing games and making hardware

there is a console war lol. I love getting every system though. That way i can get a chance to play ever game possible exclusive wise.. Now think about it, if the ps3 truly had nothing but ports. Even though i'd rather side with a japanese company when it comes to consoles, if the ps3 by the end of the year is full of nothing but ports and no strong reason to play any exclusive then i already made a good choice by buying 360. I am though, concerned over the damage the system is causing to the market. Yes Microsoft is damaging the videogame market, by attemting to saturate the market with shooters.

I used to really dislike shooters and didn't think I'd like 360 so much because I agree, most of their games are shooters. Gears of War (recently) has become one of my favorite video games ever, I just bought Lost Planet, and I'm planning to play Halo and Halo 2 (never did) before 3 comes out, I want to play GRAW 1 and 2. I don't know what's going on! FUCK SHIT ASS FUCK
